Nestled in the mountains of small village in Limasol. It is a nice ride up the mountain from the water side in Limasol. you will get the tour into the process of fermenting the grape juice and store it into old oak wooden barrels. you can purchase your favorite after tasting a variety of the wine made at the same... We called in to have a look around not a tasting. The owner offered us a tasting of any wine we liked. He was very friendly and extremely helpful. The wine was too good and I bought more than I expected but no doubt will need to go again.

The men at thereception and sales of products of the shop was not a top communicator, his maximum effort was to tell you which wine was in the glass during the wine tasting. No information about the winery or the grapes or the vinification system. Saying that, the quality of the wines was not comparable with the same we had... More

I had a pleasure to visit Lambouri winery in December. We had the opportunity to speak with the winery owner, who was very friendly and responsive. He told us many interesting facts about the history of Cyprus winemaking and future plans. We have a nice tour and wine tasting, after which we bought a few bottles of wine. The wines... More

We were a group of 6 people and firstly there was no one in sight when we came in. we were eventually greeted by a very unhelpful gentleman who advised us we could not do a tour as it is only for groups of people (6 people surely is classified a group). we were told only if we wanted to... More

This must be one of the best winery in Cyprus. I always make the drive up here at the beginning of our holiday to buy some wine to drink while on holiday and take home.

At Lambouri they make excellent wines especially the higher quality wines that are priced around 12 euro. We especially liked the cabernet sauvignon - great nose - and the Maratheftiko. Also the Special Reserve was great: velvety, no tannines, complex. We understood that Lambouri seems to operate more on their own while many other winemakers have more mutual contact. Very... More

We read so much about Lambouri wines that we made it a point to visit the winery. However, upon arrival, we were faced with a hostess with only two words in her vocabulary: yes and no. This cut the visit to 1/10 as we made a quick tasting, bought a few bottles and left. But to be more fair to... More

We visited the winery in May, it was quiet but we received good attention from the winemaker - he let us try a number of different wines which were all very good, we toured the winery which was interesting, more modern than we had expected. We bought several bottles of wine home with us including a bottle of Commandaria which... More

Went to Troodos on a Sunday so the winery in Platres was closed but we were offered wine tasting in a really nice little village called Omodos. Lambouri wine is very good and the people at Lambouri are really lovely. They made us feel so welcome. My husband who is a bit of a wine expert was very pleased with... More
