You pay on entry at the entrance barrier where there is a ticket booth. You then drive up to the visitor centre where there is plenty of parking. There is information about the site and a gift shop but food and drink is from a vending machine. The site itself is fantastic with a number of houses with mosaics, an amphitheater, basilica and large Roman baths. It’s spread out over quite a large area but there are smooth flat paths linking it all. There is also plenty of signage explaining everything. Definitely worth seeing if you are remotely interested in ancient history

Great view from the amphitheatre. Ancient mosaics were interesting and I liked that they were covered. We went early morning before it got too hot.

This is a vast Roman site (the Latin name is Curium). The mosaics are spectacular and the amphitheatre is in very good condition. There are a whole variety of buildings in varying states of preservation. There are also spectacular views along the cost from this elevated site. The area has been subjected to 5 major earthquakes (none of significance in recent times) and areas have been rebuilt over time as a result. The people in charge of the site are to be commended for providing brail descriptions to the main features
