Visited Limassol for the day went around the town and then to the castle very interesting artefacts inside, outside was just like a wreaked building, ok to visit for an hour or less,

Enjoyed our visit, fascinating to see how successive occupants had each changed the building to suit their current needs. The basis of a church with arches still clearly visible inside but obliterated from the outside.

The castle was unexpectedly small and the visit is quite short - but interesting anyway. There a good variety of restaurants around it. Try the local beer - it is pretty good.

We enjoyed the visit. There are lots of twists and turns as well as being able to get out on the roof. Lost of items stored here. Worth a visit.
