If you cannot swim or not confident in water, then this is the beach to visit. You can walk out a good distance without being out of your depth.A good selection of cafes fronting the beach means you don't have to pack everything up to eat or have a drink.

We were looking to blow away the New Years Eve Cobwebs away with a walk. The Cypriot Sun was out in the Blue Blue Sky and we walked a good 2/3s of the way along the beautiful sandy Beach with hardly a soul in sight. The calm Mediterranean lapped the shoreline and Peace & Tranquility reigned supreme. Lady's Mile is... More

The drive to the beach is not inspiring and in summer the road is dusty and quite dangerous with all the cars but if you are patient it's worth it. In winter when the crowds are gone it is beautiful to walk the whole length and back , about 6 km . In summer be careful of the current if... More

This may be Lady's Mile Beach, but when referring to 'bird spotting' I am referring to the feathered variety. I am no expert on birds but a keen amateur. There is by the large area of reeds, a dedicated 'hide' for bird spotting, giving views of wild sea bird, fresh-water fowl and hawks of varying kinds. The 'Mile' itself has... More

lovely beach with shallow safe water (you can walk out 50 yards and its still only knee deep) - 4 or 5 restaurants - we like the very last one as you can watch the planes take off and land at the RAF base - there is also the salt flats in the summer where you can drive

We were recommended to come here and we were disappointed. The good thing is that we had a car so drove here and drove straight back again. Although it offered a sandy beach, that's probably about it. I would imagine it is suitable for families who want to let their kids run riot. There are many restaurants along here, but... More

The reviews and pictures of beaches in Cyprus look sandy and pristine. We opted to go to Lady's Mile Beach instead of the busy beaches east of the city because the reviews of this beach said it was a pristine, sandy beach. The reality is...this beach is long and less populated, but it is not sandy. It is rocky, so... More

It's not the most beautiful beach in Cyprus, but you can drive up to the shore and the beach is clean. It's ideal with a baby because you can park close, find a nice restaurant and have all facilities close by.

Golden sand and very gentle slope down to the water make this a great beach for families as well as adults.
