A great hike with spectacular vistas. Path is clearly marked and well maintained. Easy to get to from Latchi & Polis. Highly recommend

Very beautiful place, crystal clear waters, but access it’s very hard by car or foot, it’s around 5 km, dusty trail under 30 degrees Celsius, the best way it’s rent a buggy in Latsi, the access to the water it’s very hard is well, by rocks beware!
because of that I don't rate 5, but it’s so beautiful
Enjoy

Scenic and steep
Sep 2020 • Family
Start early in the day, and take lots of water! The path is clearly marked but does involve a bit of scrambling at times. The view, not only at the top, but all the way around is worth it. We started at the Baths of Aphrodite and went clockwise around the trail, coming back down is very steep and not for those with a fear of heights! I can't stress enough, take lots of water if you're going in the summer.

Lovely hike with stunning views
Jul 2020
Lovely hike with stunning views. Met a few goats on the way. The hike is quite long, it took us about 4 hours, including stops for rest and snacks. Make sure to wear adequate footwear and bring enough water. There is a spot to fill your water halfway. Do not attempt to do this hike in the summer since there is very little shade. We went there in the middle on July and even though we started at 8 am, it was already too hot.

A beautiful hike through the national forest, Akamas Peninsula.
Enjoy the tranquility and scenery.
Great views. Very enjoyable.
You can start this or Aphrodite's trail from Aphrodite's bath.
It is all marked with little trail markers.
Takes about 2.5 to 3 hours, steep in the beginning. Medium difficult level.
Recommend!

Lovely walk but take the mileage signs with a pinch of salt, Better to leave the coast path for the way down
Feb 2020
We were visiting Latchi as it was the nearest town to our village. As it was a lovely day we packed a picnic and decided to walk the Aphrodite walk as it was only 4 km long. There is a good car park at the entrance and signage detailing the walk. As it is a circular walk we decided to walk along the coast first, this was a bad choice. It is a steep uphill walk the whole way and we seemed to be the only people walking this way. It is a stunning walk full of beautiful flora and fauna the whole way around , with stunning views of the coastline . We all had walking boats and it was hard work , also the signage on the route is a bit vague so you are not always sure that you are following the route. In fact at the end we discovered we had not taken the path that cuts across the middle of the two trails but taken one further down. Also the mileage signs seem to bear no resemblance to the distance that your covered. We eventually got to the top and found a perfect place to have a picnic with stunning views and a small goat herd wearing bells walking around the hillside. We met lots of people walking up that seemed to have had a much easy walk and this was confirmed when we carried on the rest of the route . Downhill was much easier , more straight forward and simple path to follow. The route goes through a very interesting and mixture of habitats and is a lovely way to spend a day. At the end we reckon we had actually walked nearly 8km , so we were glad of the taverna at the end of the route. Its a lovely walk but wear proper walking shoes, take the inside route first leaving the coastal path for the return journey, and realise its a lot longer than signed.

Lovely long walks on wide trail
Feb 2020 • Family
Starting from the Baths of Aphrodite car park there is a very wide trail (an unsurfaced single track road which is not suitable for any vehicles) which follows the coast. It's quite rough, so strong shoes would be best but it is wide enough so that anyone with fear of heights can keep well away from the cliff edge. Amazing views and wonderful peace and quiet - just the sound of the waves and birds. Few tourists in February, so perfect for a long or short walk.

Rugged nature trail
Oct 2019 • Couples
We thought we were doing this trail as it is circular and only 2.5 kilometres long .
Unfortunately we must has misread the only notice there and ended up on the much steeper and longer Adonis nature trail .
That trail is much longer (7.5 kilometres) and only for the experienced property equipped hill walker.
I would advise strong shoes or boots a water bottle and the constitution of a mountain goat.
Having said that the views at the peak are stunning and well worth the climb.
Perhaps not for us old pensioners though.
