The harbour area is modern beautiful statue and lots of boats. You can walk along the beach for some distance lucky had the oldest of Villas. Latchi has a different bus to Paphos in that it seems to attract the older British crowd whilst we were there in January 2021 this was at the height of the pandemic and now hardly any tourists. There is a great bakery nearby in Polisand there are a couple of supermarkets, restaurants and shops in Latchi itself.Visited January 2021Traveled as a coupleWritten July 27, 2021
- BrianngogCyprus7,325 contributionsQuietLatchi not long after Lockdown was quiet and peaceful with the shoreline being disturbed only by the gentleness of the waves. A few souls dotted the beach with the ever watchful Lifeguard doing his duty. Plenty of Sunbeds and Parasols available as are Watersports. Nearby Taverns, Coffee Shops and Restaurants keep you well supplied with sustenance and a good day is had by all.Visited June 2019Traveled with friendsWritten June 27, 2020
- niks216London, United Kingdom254 contributionsLovely seafront bars and restaurants and lovely sunsetsThe beach cannot compare to the beaches of the south east for beauty, but if you prefer to have plenty of space and a wilder, natural vibe then Latchi beach is great. We stayed in Latchi and preferred our pool during the day and drove to Coral Bay once, but we really enjoyed walking here in the evenings, sitting in the nice bars and restaurants on the front, enjoying the sunset, while the kids played on the beach. Loved the mountains on both sides as well. We divided our two week holiday between Pernera and Latchi and felt we had the best of both worlds doing it this way.Visited October 2021Written December 21, 2021

This area was a refreshing change from the over developed, untidy Paphos. The beach sand was quite coarse but the restaurants along the harbour and the ice cream shop by the beach were smart and not overpriced. This has a much more relaxed vibe.

Since our last visit, two years ago, the overall access to the sea is hampered more by rocks, boulders plus an uneven surface. One presumes winter storms have caused this. Changing and shower facilities are extremely limited and in most cases inoperable or in need of repair. Apart from an excellent restaurant visit the rest of the day was poor as a result of facilities.

Nice beach and marina. Good wlking path alongside, so if you just want to admire the view you don't need to get sandy. Lots of Tavernas alondside , most selling a goos selection of fish dishes. You won't go hungry or thirsty while sunning yourself

Tuesday 11th October we visited this beach which is located on the north west side of the Island just beyond Katchi harbour and marina. It is also near the Akamas National Forest Park and Peninsula.
It gets a bit confusing as there are a variety of spellings of the small village's name which include Latchi, Lachi, Latsi and Lakki, take your pick.
The beach is not as long as it's neighbour, the Municipal Beach of Polis, both situated in the picturesque Chrysochous Bay, surrounded by mountainous terrain.
The crescent shaped beach had golden sands and pebbled stoney area by the water's edge. Along which there are rows of sunloungers and umbrellas to hire.
For those visitors who wanted to avoid the commercialised end of the Beach, there was plenty of space at the other end to spread out the beach mats and towels and enjoy the sunshine, the scenery and the tranquillity.
When we visited it was not very busy which added to the appeal of the place.
There are toilets and showers here. Along the back of the beach are a number of tavernas serving a variety of food and drink, with plenty of parking nearby

every time I visit the place either with my husband or with friends I can't stop
looking at the sea! the deep, clear, blue-tirquaze waters are unresistable!
It's not a sandy beach, and sometimes is quite difficult to enter the water, but
it's just amazing .So clear, you can see under the surface the rocks, the fish...

Absolutely fab beach, the best of our stay. Very long, sand and pebble, sea entry okay just a few stones and a boardwalk for less able. Man-made stone breakwater further out good for snorkeling, lots of fish. Parking €2 for 6hrs, sunbeds and brollies €7.40. On-beach showers, toilets and changing rooms fab. Lovely sea food restaurant, had amazing lunch, good value. Ice cream stand too. Overall lovely, wish I was there now!

Lovely peaceful beach compared to coral bay where we are staying. Enjoyed the walk with waves crashing. Lovely beach side restaurants to sit and admire the view. Wanting to go back for second visit and have dinner at one of the restaurants

Day visit to Latchi. Stopped at the harbour. Parking sufficient and explored restaurants and enjoyed seeing the boats in the harbour. Took a little walk along the beach to Polis beach bar. Toilets available. Harbour area nice and clean and ripe for people watching

The only thing that exists is the nice view.
Employees are very rude.
I was waiting for a coffee 10 minutes until the girls finished talking. They asked me "What do you want?" I ordered a coffee, and when I paid I ripped the money as if they wanted to show me. I stretched my hand to make my shift, instead of giving it to me, I threw them on the bench in a very ugly way.
I do not recommend it to anyone.
You want to be beautiful and you lose your mood.
The owner has to do some seminars, to his employees, of good behavior.

Yes supermarkets are open Sunday's in Latchi and Polis 10 mins drive away. In Polis there is Papantonio's a large supermarket which also sells some recognised English brands

both beaches are shingle but I thought that latchi was clean tidy quiet and had great changing facilities.
