Arrived in Larnaca on a cruise. The free shuttle bus takes you from the port to the beach, where it is a pleasant and easy walk past the restaurants to the waterfront fort. Took a trip to Cyprus in November. Beautiful beaches and excellent day time temperatures. Trips into the mountains to monasteries and lovely restaurants. Larnaca itself is a lively place with no shortage of bars and restaurants. Above all - lovely people.

This church is a fantastic example of Byzantian archeture. make sure you are respectfully dressed so you can go inside. The starirs to the crypt below is worth a trip and the casks and effigies are interesting. The surrounding courtyeard around the outside gives you ample photo opportunities.

I was there with my girlfriend and we were very impressed of the architectural design, and history. What surprises me is the masonic grave yard very close....
