As a well travelled couple we have found many places along the eastern coast of cyprus around aiya napa and protaras areas.

Cyclops caves is an excellent place for a lovely picture and a little bit of exploring.

There is a main cave which you can walk in. Im 6ft 2 so had to crouch down.

We had a wonder we had a pair of crocs on each (please dont judge) and i probably wouldnt wear anything less as the rocks are jagged and you could possibly slip out of a pair of flippy floppys.

You can park on top we had a buggy for the week but im sure a taxi would take you close by as it is an established land mark.

There is an easy route down to the caves and the shore.

It is a lovely place to go and visit and is ont of our now (show off landmarks) where we will be telling other people about it to go and visit, or showing friends when we bring them out here.

Would recommend

Cyclops Cave is one of Cape Greco’s great secrets. Superbly created and weathered by Mother Nature herself Cyclops is yet another Natural Wonder. Certainly well worth paying a visit and if you go in the Winter Months the peace and tranquil is in itself a wonder.

The access road is probably not for rental cars, unless you rented an off-road vehicle. Park in the residential area and walk. If you want to drive all the way it is a bit tricky to find the entrance, as it looks like a service road - and starts of in the opposite direction about 1 km from the cave!
The cave itself is so-so, but the water is really nice! Not much beach (go to Konnors bay just down the coastline for that), but the underwater view is excellent! Be prepared for a climb down the cliff with your equipment. Not too steep, but if you dive with junior divers don't expect them to be able to carry their own equipment down and up.
Absolutely worth a visit.

the cave is not sign posted so well, although there are signs they seem vague. Once you find the cave I doubt that, like me, you will be impressed. Its not that large and its smelly. It is worth a swim just in front of it. dive off the rocks.

Honestly, the so called cave itself is tiny. It takes line 10 seconds and you've seen it all. However, it is a unique place for phtographs, be it into or out of the cave.

Also, take a few more steps and you get a nice view on Konnos Bay. It's also an OK place to have a pick nick at.

The path thete from Konnos Bay is nice, as it offets a few spectaculare photograpgic opportunities.

The road to Cyclops Cave is just for wolking. About 10-15’ from the car road. But the view from up is superb. It is a must to come an visit is you are in Aya Napa. Take care of the gps witch will guide you to the place. I have used Google Maps and it was perfect. From the car road it will be a little entrance on the right. Enjoy.

Cyclops Cave is claimed to have been a hideout of the infamous Cyclop, a one-eyed giant who trapped Ulysses and his men, as they struggled to return from Troy to Ithaca, in Homer’s book, The Odyssey. You can enter this cave one side and exit another side.

The place and the cave are really nice and interesting to visit. The cave is not big and is open from two ends.

It is not difficult to find and if you walk to there, as we did, you would enjoy an amazing walk great sea views and lots of hidden beaches.

Recommend it to enthusiasts. It is not a place for people who prefer the urban comfort.

Cyclops Cave is good for exploring on foot or from the water (via scuba diving under/around it). The setting is beautiful, overlooking the sea, and sunsets are lovely here. It's also fun to walk around--and inside of--during the day.

Located at the Konnos Bay. 2.4km long walk, but worth it. Really nice walk near the sea. Definitely worth to see
