Set off early it's a 2.5-3 hour trip depending how far down the Peninsula you travel & how often you stop but reaching Golden Beach is worth it. The road trip seems quicker as the scenery is stunning. There are plenty of beaches, restaurants, cultural sights & towns such as Dipkarpaz to stop at but we admired the views as... More

Took my kids from the greek side for a day of fun. To long for little kids so unless you stay overnight not recomended. Lots of nice beaches but not interest enough and not to many attractions for kids. The donkeys where great but the church was closed. To summarise if you like desrted beaches go for it. Otherwise not... More

We drove here from Girne/Kyrenia and it took us about 2.5 hours, along the coastal road. The drive is very easy and scenic, with beautiful views along the way. You drive through a number of small towns on the way and past some gas stations and supermarkets. The last 6 or so km are a dirt road, but it was... More

Golden beach in February 2015 was absolutely gorgeous. Windy but sunny and warm. Perfect for a long walk by the sea. It's hotter from May - Oct but depends what you prefer. If you pass Deks Restaurant just after passing through Yeni Erenkoy it is well worth calling in for a drink or food. Freshly cooked food with a wide... More

You should explore this part of NRTC as its quite simply stunning. It really is a beautiful place that needs to be explored. Stunning views of the coast with lovely little villages on route and golden beaches, beautiful rock faces overlooking the crystal blue Mediterranean Sea. We drove all the way to the tip and climbed the last point with... More
