While the historical elements/artifacts of the museum are a bit minimal (maybe to be expected), the multi-floor natural history section is very interesting, especially for children. This makes it all worth it.

A must to visit when you are here enjoying the little beauty of one of the micro nations of Europe, learn not only their history but also their religion, geography and education.

I was unsure weather to pay the entry fee of ~8€ for the museum since it looked rather small from the outside, but I did not regret visiting it after all. You can spend a couple of hours in there if you are interested in the history and culture of Liechtenstein. I was especially impressed with the section about the... More

Get the combo ticket for the Treasury too even if the crown is a fake. The audio guide was tedious and took so much time! There are not enough chairs in the exhibit halls so be wary. At some point, I saw some portable chairs one can carry around... For a country that has only been independent for so long,... More

The museum is perfectly and carefully planned to please the interest of any kind of visitors. Exhibits are nicely presented. It has many stuffed animal specimens kids will love. It's not a big museum, just one floor, but with pretty fine collections of stamps. I was amazed about the stamps of Liechtenstein, they were so beautiful.

The national museum made an exception and so my small terrier was the first dog to have visited the museum carried in a small bag ! The friendly staff made up of local woman greeted us kindly, they are happy to be there and are glad to greet visitors possibly because this is a one horse town, not much happening,... More

We visit only part of Liechtenstein National Museum which is free of charge. Its a small museum with story of Liechtenstein postage stamps, with many of them. Free toilet is available and also small but relative cheap gift shop.

Interesting museum with good views. A lot to do with postage and writing. Cool shop to buy stamps in if every variety.
