Take the chairlift to serene heights! The four-seat Sareis chairlift brings you up to the Sareiserjoch at 2'000 meters elevation, both a mountain restaurant and an ideal starting point for many hikes.

Up here, you will enjoy a wonderful view of the valley and the peaks. Maybe you will only want to stay for a while in the Sareis mountain restaurant and walk down into the valley. Or you will choose to hike up to one of the peaks, such as the Augstenberg or the Naafkopf.

Weekend trip to the Eden. If you arrive at that place in night time. Your wake-up surprise will really with wow. Morning ring of a church bell somewhere out. All what you can see will green or white. And in summer period really so silent place for relaxation.

This chairlift in Malbun was a great way to get a great view in just a few minutes. Great view from the top of Sareis, at 2000m, over the Liechtenstein, Swiss and Austrian alps. The top of the mountain and view point was very calm and good to relax. I was alone in there for more than 1h!

From the Liechtenstein ski resort Malbun, you can take an exiting cable trip up to the Saraiserjoch, have a drink or lunch there, lounge in the sun on the terrace high above the valley, or trek on the narrow path for about a mile and take in views to Austria and other breathtaking sights.

... to get up the hill safely. Ride is smooth and with no hassle. Skiing down is with a view and a very easy slope.

We drove up to Malbun and parked right beside the chair lift as car parking is very limited in the town itself. The weather was stunning with sunshine and temperatures in the late 20's, no cloud at all. As we had not come equipped to walk (we were doing a driving tour of Europe) we decided to chair lift it... The lift is literally right at the end of the road but you cannot park next to this lift. Only patrons of the hotels in the area can park next to the lift. Best way to access this lift is to ski from the other nearby lift to this one or take the bus. It is a beautiful ride up... More

I agree with previous comments that the road leading to the top is not very interesting. This ride was included in my one-day Adventure Card pass, so I didn't think to walk to the top. The view from the top's cafe is astounding especially when considering that the view east is Austria and the view west is Switzerland/Liechtenstein. Instead of... More

We took this to get up to the mountain top trails to Augstenberg. It is worth the short cut since the road up is not very interesting. If you are not interesting in hiking and just want to see a good view, I recommend. There is a cafe at the top that looks nice.
