Boats to the islands of Fuseta, Old Bay, New Bay ply from the pier next to the fisherman’s wharf in Fuseta. €5 for a return trip. You have to specify a time when the boat should come back to pick you. In case you want...More

When doing your bird viewing tour a super place to have a lunch break. Also for the sandy beach (playa) lovers excellent.

Nice enough beach. Wouldn't rave about it, but nice not to have waves crashing in on the quieter inlet here. Boats also run from Fuseta out to main beach. Cafe at back of beach, which isn't the cheapest but really good and also has showers...More

This spot is the perfect day at the beach! The island (sometimes called the Sand Bar) is spacious, with simple facilities that maintain a natural and unspoiled environment. The ferry to and from the main land is cheap and frequent, making it easy to access....More

This is how we like a beach! When you take the ferry from Fuseta a short boattrip brings you to the island. There are some small beachbars and facilities. Also beachchairs for rent. Walk for a couple of 100 meters and you are totally alone...More

As of August 17, everything perfect. Still some machinery can be seen in a distance, but at least 1 km of beach in perfect condition, bars and everything.
