Pretty beach with good facilities for young and old alike. Easy to park and walk around. Safe swimming, children’s play areas, good priced food and snacks, cold beer etc!

Since it's updating the Lac de Gurson has little to offer apart from a small playground, a small beach and swimming. Unfortunately, it has lost a lot of its appeal. Disappointed.

Lovely beach, not too crowded. Couple of restaurants, kayaks, fishing, etc. Unfortunately fishing equipment is not available to hire. Small mountain bike park, holiday chalets, camping, and a couple of rather sad-looking tennis courts. We took a walk around the lake - about 40 minutes...More

Nice lake with a man-made beach for swimming. New facilities for changing etc. and all very well kept. The cafe and the sort-of restaurant next door provide parasols for shade and apparently the fish and chips is very good! We parked in the (free) camping...More

A beautiful place which was a joy to relax in... The large wooden sun beds suitable for 2+ adults were a nice touch. Would love to go again in Summer when the boats are available

Hi! Yes you can take dogs but they are not allowed on the beach. There are plenty of wooden tables and benches in the picnic areas where you can go with a dog and you can take them to the café and walk around the lake.
