It's a lovely building to come see, and a real contrast to all that you will have probably seen earlier in the day, in terms of age and style. Worth a visit.

The outside architecture for sure is attractive. However, most people visit the Philharmonie for its purpose. This is a first rate classical concert hall. A new building, comfortable seating, excellent acoustics, sufficient underground parking, facilities to welcome business relations, ... . As with many public places in Luxembourg, the builders did not compromise on quality.

As you approach the Philharmonic Hall in Luxembourg you will be impressed by its architecture (modern). Upon entering you will continue to be impressed by its modernity, but now more user friendly. It is a pleasure to be in the circular walkways, sipping wine and feeling the gentle pre-concert buzz. Architecturally, the concert Hall itself is not as impressive, but the music makes up for it. Regular concerts offering variety - a clarinet concert on my last visit.
Luxembourg is not a cheap place generally, and the Philharmonic is no exception, for tickets or for refreshments. The tickets are about the same price as a Premier League football match, but here a good performance is guaranteed.

I was there just 1 time, and i wish to go back soon. I did not attend any concert. The most amazing thing is the Grand Auditorium, designed on the concept of the "shoebox".

Philharmonie is a "young" music hall, built only a decade ago. The sound quality is remarkable, and the visibility of the stage and the comfort for spectators are excellent. The overall architecture is interesting, and the space for talking during the intervals is adequate but could have more sitting space. One additional issue is great parking at an affordable price.
