During our stay in Luxembourg, we enjoyed an afternoon coffee and ice cream at the Pavilion cafe in Parc de Merl with our friends - a peaceful, cosy place located just by the lake.

Nice park to go with friends, families or by yourself. During the weekend there are mostly families with young kids, there is also a cafe/bar in the center next to the pound to eat lunch or just for a drink.

For all residents in Luxembourg, the parc de Merl is one of the of the places to be, a real meeting point, not least for people with small children.

I love this place. The playground is nice. In the summer the commune puts free trampolines. You can play ping-pong, football, sunbathe, feed the ducks, go to the bar, have a picnic and meet lots of people.

Lovely park to stroll and have some casual food. Reasonably clean and natural. Can spend an hour especially on less sunny days. Many trees around make it healthy too
