Pont Adolphe is a major bridge in downtown Luxembourg. Connecting the railway station area with its lovely historic city center, this is a nice place to appreciate the panorama of the city. The view of the lush valley is particularly memorable.

Pont Adolphe is probably the main tourist view in Luxembourg city. It appears on postcards, fridge magnets and any other souvenirs.

You can walk across, drive across or take the tram. Don't forget, all public transport in Luxembourg is FREE!

There are plenty of views of the bridge from many areas nearby and it is well worth taking time to admire the bridge and the surrounding scenery.

MUST SEE!

This bridge is amazing, beautiful, stunning and is Luxembourg City's landmark. I walked on the bridge's under suspended pathway to go to the city centre. The views are pictures. Underneath the bridge is walking routes and is like a labyrinth. This attraction is free and you have to do this if your here. I was left breathless.

It is breath taking how the city involves a basin between the gare (train station) and the rest of the city. Inside that basin is a village and a large park area. I got there at 07:00, took many pictures from the bridge then walked down the many steps to the basin floor and watched normal hikers and walkers move around the basin. No wonder the Luxembourg people are not fat with the amount of walking and climbing required around the basin. The views are amazing and only being at the floor of the basin do you realise how tall the bridges are (over 100 metres!). Such an unexpected terrain feature of a city. No wonder Luxembourg was such a defence spot before the days of helicopters and public bridges

Not much to add to the above really! It's well worth making the effort to see the bridge both from underneath (Petrusse Valley) and also from the top as well. We went on a sunny day, and it was just glorious.

Even though we were here during winter and unfortunately the few days were here they were both foggy days we were still able to get a beautiful view of the bridge.

Beautifully designed, a must-see while you are in the city.

Very high, but it is a good location for photography. Beautiful views of the palace, viaduct and park. The city of Luxembourg surprises.
