This museum, in the heart of the city, has five floors, and presents prehistory and also history of the war; masterpieces paintings; there are often nice exhibitions to visit.

This is set in the birthplace of the creator of the Statue of Liberty. Its Auguste Bartholdi 1834-1904. Its free, well worth the look.

This is gem of a museum, most unexpected. Well arranged and well explained prehistory/archaeology/history, and an equally well arranged art gallery with art from many ages including contemporary. The coin and medal collection is also surprisingly interesting.

Yes, Luxembourg did have hunters and gatherers and was at some point ruled by Rome. You can see relics of these epochs. Admission is free and this is a nice museum when looking to kill some time,
