The Viaduc helps frame the beauty of Luxembourg City. The views from a distance are breathtaking, while closer observations offer great angles for photography and exploration.

Stop by the guest information centre in the heart of the town to get helpful historical information about the Viaduc and its historical importance. It is approximately a 20 minute walk to the Viaduc from the visitor centre.

For any visit to Luxembourg you need to walk across the viaduct and look to the city. With photos taken from the viaduct toward the city it provides an excellent view and some fantastic shots

Surrounding the city of Luxembourg is a fortress wall encompassed with casemates. On either end of the river walk bridges up two massive viaducts. This area is wonderful for an afternoon stroll and to get lost in the green space. Buildings and nature alike find a solstice in the valley. There are many nice walks with small information boards along he way if you so choose to read up on the very recent history surrounding Luxembourg's past.

Right in the middle of the city of Luxemburg you will find this viaduc with an absolutly amazing view. Beautiful like a painting and standing on the middle of one of the bridges you can se far away and get lost in the view. You can't miss it if you go to Luxemburg. It's like a painting.

The best place to get a great view of the viaduct, and generally a great view is behind the archive building. There is a path high on the ridge that affords great views all along the canal.

Everyone may not know that. But it's a great place to take pictures. I think it's as good as the viaduct from the Bernina Express in Switzerland. The scenary is good to see from not only the upper district but also the lower district.I'm sure you won't get bored with watching.
Luxenbourg is small country and unconvenient to visit. So, you may not know about that country. I had not been so excited before I visited. But I found the country beautiful and exciting. If you have enough time, you shold go.

combination of old city castles and new hi-tech city along with scenic beauty makes Luxembourg a wonderful destination. 2 to 3 days trip including vianden castle will be a good trip.

Great for taking some dramatic pics - we were caught by the rain but still loved the view. Tip: decent walking shoes and if you have moderatre mobility issues I'd recommend hiking sticks.

The topography of Luxembourg City requires many bridges, and of those this is one. A photo opportunity as well as an engineering feat.
