A Duke's Palace

Duke of Luxembourg palace, you can probably have a tour inside, not really sure. Definitely a "must" in Luxemburg.

While walking around in the city center, I came across this building and realized its the palace. Good architecture from the outside and even surrounding buildings are also impressive. But nothing more to do, you can see this and more important places that are in the city center in few hours on one go.

Really pretty building. Great architecture. Unfortunately there were no tours on the day we choose to visit. Would love to come back and get a tour of the inside.

Guided tour only, no fotos, costs 10 euros. Book in advance. Can only buy tickets in the tourist center a couple blocks away. We had to take a tour in German because English was all sold out. Groups of about 40 people. Inside is decorated very nice from 300 years ago to present day

Not a kind of Royal Palace as I have used to see. The Palace kind of pop uo behind the corner. However Palace is always a Palace.

"Great but a shame had to see it from the outside." The title says it all. I heard that it's open only during a certain time of the year, though thats very understandable as it's the grand duke's place. But as a tourist that's always a bit disapoointing I guess :P

Although it was closed this still is a must see for the visitor to Luxembourg. The old world architecture is impressive and there are many excellent shops and restaurants nearby. Don't miss!!

The building it's ok. Great place. I saw the small changing guard, but there's another changing guard happens just in july and August. In this period, you can also go into the palace that is not free entrace. It's not like england changing but it is nice. Reccomend you to go july or aug.

This was, in a way, quite funny to see. One soldier marches from left to right, without stopping. Made me wonder, what would happen if I would cross that rope. He'd probably just yell at me to stop. That's it. But I didn't do it. It's probably a main attraction there. The building is interesting from a architectures viewpoint. If... More
