My friend and I wanted to pass some time before dinner and thought my daughter would like the Natural History Museum (we were already in the Grund). We discovered this museum because Luxembourg has a weekend when all museums are free to enter - what a fantastic idea! We went along. We found wonderful things here that we had never seen before, the only problem was that it was over very quickly because the museum itself is quite small. I hope that will change in the future.... The museum is really good the only problem is now you can only visit the second floor and the first one is closed for the moment but still you will enjoy it

now march 2016, the museum is under construction, but some space is open , if it's not too late , then go and see the exhibition called : colibris and coffee - this is really worthwhile

the actual exhibition : orchidees, cacao and kolibris is worth some kilometers , the luxemburgers explorers in 18.90 ties , went to brazil and imported from there cacaos and coffee

This Museum is downtown Luxembourg, it's for family and schools to discover animals and tropical plants; Human development and nature are illustrated.

Many schools visit this museum with children to orient them in interesting for the nature and for animals. There are stuffed animals, but now in december the museum will changed off all; There will be to see Orchidées, cacao & colibris; naturalistes and hunter of plantes of Luxembourg and Amérique latine.(botanique à la zoologie)

We decided to visit this museum whilst in Luxembourg City for the day so it was a great disappointment when it was very unfriendly to children. Upon entering and paying our entrance fee we headed into the gallery of stuffed animals in which my daughter found a wooden box on the floor in the viewing area with a hinged lid... More
