This was a real disappointment I'm afraid to say. It's housed in the old Abbey hospital but unfortunately on my visit the majority of the museum was closed off for renovation work leaving only the top floor open. The exhibition there was modern and well laid out but there was no English information. The member of staff on duty looked... More

I quite enjoy visiting the natur musée, which translates as nature museum. At the moment only the temporary exhibition is accessible as the permanent collection is getting renovated and changed. This was a very interesting museum, one of my favourites in the city. It was also interactive with lots of animal sounds, costumes, etc.

My friend and I wanted to pass some time before dinner and thought my daughter would like the Natural History Museum (we were already in the Grund). It's a shame that the permanent collection is shut right now so only the current special exhibition is available, but the South America exhibition was fantastic. It is still full price, though I'm... We discovered this museum because Luxembourg has a weekend when all museums are free to enter - what a fantastic idea! We went along. We found wonderful things here that we had never seen before, the only problem was that it was over very quickly because the museum itself is quite small. I hope that will change in the future....
