Fantastic, it really enriched my visit in Luxembourg. I would recommend this tour to everybody, if I will be in Luxembourg again somewhere in the future I might book it again. Lots of details, lots on local tips, you really get a lot to know and to see of the city in a short time.
Thank you Thomas!

My husband and I are from the US and did not know anything about Luxembourg, except some of our ancestors were from there and we wanted to experience the country. We could not find much in the way of tours and we read an article in the newspaper about biking in Luxembourg, so we googled this and found FEEL!/Velosophie. Over email, Monique designed a week long bike tour four us in June 2013. She did an absolutely wonderful job, picking quaint, nice hotels for us. We started out in Luxembourg City for a couple of days. Monique had Gust welcome us at out hotel the evening we arrived to explain our bike tour and provide us our bikes. The next day, we enjoyed the city bike tour with our guide Daniel. The next day Gust arrived early in the morning and we biked through the beautiful Moselle Valley to our first hotel in Remich. Gust was awesome - we still miss him! After enjoying a delicious dessert with Gust, he left us to follow the maps and continue with our tour - we were on our own. It was very easy though, as we biked along the river the entire trip (and then took the train back to Luxembourg City). The bike company transported our luggage from hotel to hotel. Remich was like a fairytale. The swans were beautiful; I was waiting for Snow White to walk by. Our next stop was Nittel, Germany, right across the river from Luxembourg. We stayed at a winery, and enjoyed the wine tasting that Monique included in our itinerary. It was such a nice little village, and very peaceful. Next, we went to Echternach, which was more busy with great shops and restaurants, as well as a very old abbey. We next went to Wallendorf, which was again a nice little village. The owner cooked us a wonderful, breakfast - his baked breads were superb! We did not stay in Vianden, but it was only close to Wallendorf so we took a bike ride there. The castle there was so cool. We toured the castle and it was so majestic. I plan on including some more details in future postings, but wanted to let everyone know how wonderful Monique is and that FEEL!/Velosophie can put together a tour for you that you will never forget and will treasure for the rest of your life!

I went with my family on a bike tour in June 2013 and it was a huge highlight for us while we were in Luxembourg. We ranged in age from 14 to early 50s and the City Tour was perfect for all of us. The guide Monique was so enthusiastic about sharing the city with us all and gave so much insight into the history and culture within the city. It was a great start to our time in Luxembourg.
I would definitely recommend to others visiting the city as a solid introduction to all it has to offer.

We were picking up a river cruise in Remich and as out flight landed in the morning, we had time to explore Luxembourg City. There are not many options for tours of the area but I finally found this company and emailed to see if they could work around our schedule. I was pleased they were willing to guide us for three hours. I especially liked that there was an option for a regular bike (my son did this) and for an electric bike (loved being able to go up the hills easily!). Our guide did a very nice job taking us around the city and even extended the tour for a bit extra as she wanted us to see the more modern part of the city. If you are in Luxembourg I recommend this option as I thought the $75 euros price was very fair for two bikes, helmets and a guide. Note: cabs in Luxembourg are outrageously priced. It is basically a set fee from the airport to downtown ($35 euros) but to get from downtown to Remich ($85 euros).

My sister and I did the 2.5 hour city tour with Monique this morning and absolutely LOVED it!! We were extremely lucky that we booked very last minute and she happened to have a cancellation. I would advise calling ahead though to reserve a tour in your language. Monique was very knowledgable and you can tell she just loves Luxembourg and loves showing people her city. The pace of the tour was very nice, neither myself or my sister bike much but we were able to keep up just fine. I felt that the price was very well worth it. She even showed us good bars and restaurants to check out along the way and gave us a map of the city with highlights. I only wish I had more time in Luxembourg to do the tour of the wine country!! We had a little bit of difficulty finding the location of the bike shop, but if you call ahead sometimes they can start the tour at your hotel so it's even easier for you. Overall this was definitely a highlight of my time in Luxembourg!

We arrived in Luxembourg without a clue of what to do. Trip Advisor steered us in the right direction with this bike tour! Monique was able to fit us into a 2 1/2 hr city tour the following day. It was a fantastic tour of both the old & new areas. Monique made stops along the way so she could describe what we were seeing. She was friendly & a wealth of information. I hadn't been on a bike in decades, but that was not a problem. I highly recommend this tour!

It was interesting to learn that Luxembourg has a beer brewing tradition. It was scary to be confronted by a tall threatening man at a micro brewery stop off. Seemingly he objected to tourists taken photos of his parked van surrounded by empty beer crates.
He was obnoxious and threatening - ultimately ordering us to get off his land - to get off his field. It felt unsafe to be aggressively confronted in this way. Unfortunately this was at the start of the cycle tour with Liette - which set the tone somewhat. A most unusual welcome to Luxembourg.

If you love to bike, this tour is a must! Go in the morning before it gets too hot in the afternoon. The views are absolutely amazing!! Our guide, Daniel, was very informative about local information. If you are renting bikes be sure to locate the shop to give yourself time to get there.

Best way to start your visit to Luxembourg. Take the morning tour. The vistas of the city can be breath taking. With this tour you see the city from so many angles, looking up, out to the city from the arts district, down over old town the beauty does not end. Bike thru neighborhoods, thru the old town, by the Palace, the Abby from above and below ... All the while getting the history of the city. Our guide, Michelle was terrific... Ask if she is available, you won't be disappointed.

This tour shows some of the best views of the city and the guide is very friendly. We were a little concerned with the difficulty as we had two older ladies with us. However, the tour is mostly all downhill and should be a comfortable ride for just about everyone. Even my mother-in-law who hasn't been on a bike in years had little difficulty.
The tour is great and our guide showed us some of the best views of the city. She was also very knowledgable and kept us well entertained. It is well worth the money and time. When we come back to visit we are already planning to do some of her other tours.

Good morning,
I am considering booking a city tour for my husband and I in early May. While I noticed the tours are done is several languages, we unfortunately, only speak and comprehend English. How do we ensure our tour will be in English at the time I book.
Thanks so much!
Tricia
