This is a great opportunity to see a UNESCO world heritage site and costs €15 to have a guided walk. It lasts 2 hours and you buy tickets and meet the guide outside tourist information at 3 pm. The tour goes through the oldest parts of the city and you get excellent photo opportunities. There's lots of walking up stairs... More

Quite a historical and peaceful place however bit tiring though. Unaware of the fact that it would be impossible to complete the walk with stroller (not recommended though) and a kid but somehow we managed to complete it. It is a MUST visit place. Do carry food stuff n drinks as there are places mid-way where one would want to... More

Really enjoyed my guided tour around this UNESCO site. It's a hidden Gem. Our guide, Germaine, was knowledgeable and passionate. Highly reccomend this one, but not is you don't like steps!

We booked this tour from the tourist office in the city..very prompt service. Costs 13 € per head but since we were a group cost was much cheaper( 8€ per head) so we took a private tour. Our guide was very informative. She was very friendly n nice. This walk through the old part of Luxembourg was great. 3 hours... More

Completed the Wenzel Tour with a tour guide booked through the Luxembourg City Tourist Office. Booked on-line prior to arriving as it is only available on Wednesday and Saturday at 3pm. 15 Euro pp. It is a 3 hour walking tour for 5.5km. Guide leads you through areas that a booklet or route signs do not take you to and... More

This is a nice tour through the Upper and Lower town; "Bock " promontory, the old town there was a ring wall, Wenzeslas ring wall and the valley of the Alzette, Luxembourg's small river; and the old unique fortress. This promenade is an "outstanding "cultural itinerary. This roches and the old town are very nice.

This is a definite tour to taken if you are visiting Luxembourg. Only available on saturdays, this 3-4 hour walk is breath taking (I mean literally breath taking). The tour involves going down to the casemates and climbing lots of stairs. It is a great tour thanks to our tour guide Alex. He is a volunteer with the tourism department... More

We picked up a Wenzel Walk brochure from the information centre in the city centre. We really enjoyed the walk - it takes you to lots of different vantage points with excellent views. We did the walk in about 1.5 hours, with lots of stops to take photos. Highly recommended.

the wenzel tour is the best way to discover the entire city and especially old town by foot. Lovely paths on the fortress walls and views on the entire city make it worth a visit. Look out for the ground plates showing you the way.
