A new cozy mall perfect for the size of the population. Lots of indoor and outdoor parking on hand. It has some of the major Danish store chains, a really great supermarket, great bakery and an ice cream corner. There are are also restaurants with sitting areas and a Burger King.

SMS is a shopping center in Torshavn where you more or less can do all your shopping. I expected it to be a bigger place. Not as a Danish shopping center, but It has just about a store for most things you need (unless it is something very specific),
It includes clothing stores, a bookstore, a toy store, a jewellery store, a pharmacy, a large grocery store (Torshavn's largest supermarket), an electronics store and many more. It also has a food court with three restaurants. It even has a Burger King!
There's also free wifi for those that need it. Although small it is the biggest shopping mall (the only one?) in the Faroes. It is really an interesting experience to visit it at least once since it is very close the the center of the town and get a impression of the prince level of various goods.

With the small population of the islands you cannot expect a shopping area like a city of 1/2m people, so this place is not bad. A good selection of shops, a supper market and some fast food places, typical but on a smaller scale to reflect the area.

For us it was a great place to go grocery shopping as it had the biggest super market I have seen on the islands. So much fresh food, fish, meat and a variety of everything else which leaves you with nothing more to ask for.

Must be great for the locals as well as they have a play Lego area for kids, even a Burger King and other local shops.

Parking is plenty available for free.

I wouldn't expect much from Faroes considering their size and amount of small shops catering to everyone already. But it's a proper shopping centre with clothing and probably the only place on the islands with a well known fast food chain.

Worth a visit or if you're looking for more of a usual consumer shopping.

It is a small scale mall with many interesting shops, restaurants and cafes. They have a big supermarket as well. One stop shop for your everyday needs, clothes, food but also souvenirs.

This shopping center is not very interesting because there are no special shops which can be interesting for the tourists.
Another problem is that the shops close quite early and so not very practical if you would like to see after sightseeing the town.

Just a shopping center, a small one with only a few shops. The bookshop is good and there is no liquor shop ...

Good shopping centre for the Faroese. Lots of shops and eateries. Feels like a community hub. Worth a wander as a tourist but nothing of interest to tourists.

Lots of nice shops to lure you to spend your Kr. At this time of year the main upper hall has a lovely winter grotto scene ideal for young children. Lovely house style shops as well as wool supply, clothes, electronics and jewellery. Fast food out lets and a large supermarket which incorporates a florist shop. Plenty of parking available too but remember your parking disc and set it when you arrive.
