Get away from the main island of Malta in search of sea and sunshine on this tour from Bugibba. Visit the Crystal Lagoon (if traveling in June-October), followed by the Blue Lagoon on Comino for swimming and snorkeling. From here, continue to Gozo Island, where you have the choice of enjoying free time at your leisure or taking a tour of the island's historic sites before cruising back to Bugibba via the Santa Maria pirate caves.

This church been built under the order of Jean Parisot de Vallette for his victory over the Ottoman invaders in1565. The Knights of Malta continued to confer importance on the church endowing it with works of art and making it a Parish Church of the order in 1617. Was extended in 1699 by Grand Master Perellos y Roccafull. It went under several restaurations between 1942 and 2008.

This was a pretty little church located just as you leave the upper barrakka gardens (the lift to the gardens is 1 euro up and free down....a well spent euro).

The Church of Our Lady of Victories was the first church built in Valletta to celebrate victory over the Ottoman invaders, It is not a large church but the furnishings are impressively ornate. The ceiling and the many side altars are really amazing.
