Great place to go sit and read a book, indulge on the views of the three cities...stroll around for a few minutes. It's not big but the view is really great. You can make it a five min photo visit or stay for three hours just being mellow.

Beautiful atmospheric gardens set high above the water overlooking the gun battery. The Noon Day Gun is fired at midday everyday and is great to watch from above. There is a nice cafe nearby for ice creams an tea etc.

Best View over the Grand Harbour you can easily find. Convenient to get to from almost anywhere. Elevator from below worth a trip as well.

Once in Valletta, walk up to the gardens. You'll enjoy the amazing view of the sea, the harbor and you'd literally feel Malta's spirit. There's no entry fee, and there are many places to sit, eat, and relax.

Make sure you are there around 4 to see the canon fire. That in addition to the view is something unique you can do in Malta for free.

Nice & quiet little spot amongst the busy streets of Valetta to rest your feet & take in the view. If you time it right you can catch the firing of the guns which takes you back in time.

We walked up to Upper Barrakka Gardens a number of times during our few days in Valletta to enjoy the amazing views across the harbour, down to the cruise port and out to sea. We watched the firing of the noonday-gun which was amusing. Very good cafe for a drink and excellent toilet facilities.

There are beautiful views over the Three cities. There is a nice fountain and benches to relax. You can sit at a cafe and just enjoy Valetta :)
