Beautiful views of the Grand Harbour. Nice place to rest for a few minutes. Gardens are small but lovely.

It’s not a super garden. Average or even less than. You can make it more interesting by ensuring you’re there at noon when cannons are fired.

We have visited Malta many times and the view over Grand Harbour from Upper Barrakka Gardens never fails to amaze. It is just beautiful! There is a small snack bar in the gardens which is good value for money too. I would advise anyone visiting...More

These gardens are lovely with many flowers, mostly geraniums. Great views across the harbor. Saluting battery at 12 and 4, setting off a cannon. Easily viewed from above or pay an extra €3 to go down to get a close hand look. Public restrooms and...More

An excellent vantage point to watch the Saluting Battery which happens at 12 and 4 each day, with an amazing view of Valletta Harbour and the 3 cities. Absolutely love it.

A must see!!! Beautiful views of the harbor, and many places to sit and enjoy the lush gardens. Very close to the Lascaris War Rooms, so you could easily visit both in the same day!

A must visit. Stunning views of the Three Cities. Its right next to the City Gate so visit both together.

The location has an amazing view. We also got to the show at 12:00 pm where the cannon is fired. The guy presenting the history of the location before firing the cannon was really interesting and educational (and a bit funny).

If you want a beautiful view of the 3 cities then this is where to go. Each day the guns are fired twice for show (and you can pay to fire one yourself). The views from these upper ramparts are unrivaled and the attached garden...More

One of my favourite places in Valletta, peaceful gardens with water fountain, small outdoor coffee shop / bar. Fantastic view looking down and across the harbour, and the fort with original cannons with demonstration at midday.
