We did the three cities tour with Umberto. There were four of us and Umberto tailored the pace to suit our speed, and made sure we all comfortable and safe crossing roads. Although not busy at all. We saw some great parts of the cities and Umberto was very knowledgeable about the area and history. Highly recommended.

Umberto provided a fantastic running experience during my recent Malta trip, at a comfortable pace I learnt about the amazing history of the Valletta and took plenty of photos along the route. Umberto made the arrangements to meet up straight forward, the 5km route was well crafted and his company was a pleasure. I have no hesitation in recommending anyone either solo or as a group who visits Malta to take his running tours,

Umberto was a fantastic guide, historian and running buddy. The tour was fun and showed me a whole new part of the island. Umberto brought the island to life with interesting stories and facts and we happy to find a pace that worked for us both. He also carried a water bottle for me! It was an amazing experience and I'd recommend it to anyone interested in running, exploring and finding out more about Malta from a local, knowledgeable, enthusiastic guide.

I did a Sightseeing run in Valletta with Umberto on my last day there. I really had very much fun because this was the perfect combination of training and Sightseeing. The pace was perfect so that it was possible to have a nice chat even on the final sprint up to the highest point of Valletta. I ended up very happy with a lot of interesting information about Valletta and Malta and a few more kilometres. Mille grazie!

I chose to do the southern route of the island and it was amazing. Umberto’s knowledge about the area was fantastic. A lot of the route was to highlight and see views or historic places that I would never have found running on my own.
To be able to do this while enjoying a run made it even better. The running tour is definitely something I would highly recommend doing if you have a love for running and want to explore with an insight into the island and the history.

I ran with Umberto today exploring Southern Malta. It was an interesting and informative experience. We started in Zurrieq and arrived at the Blue Grotto just after a mile. The view was beautiful despite the early morning mist. We then ran up a bit of hill to the two prehistorical temples (Hagar Qim and Mnajdra). From there, we ran further up and then found our way down and headed toward Qrendi. There we checked in a broken windmill, catacombs, and a church that does not provide a sanctuary. Umberto was very knowledgeable about Malta and was keen to share interesting histories and stories. He was caring and conscientious. He made sure I was safe and felt okay during the run. He was also a very good conversationalist. We chatted all the way and the 11km felt like a breeze. I highly recommend Umberto.

I had two great runs with Umberto. He’s a fabulous guide who will run at your pace, he’s also very knowledgeable about the area and its history.
I prefer trail so he planned trail routes for me. Running around Valletta is pretty amazing too.

We really enjoyed our running tour! What a great way to see Valletta, get some tips, hear some history, and run.
We did this as part of our cruise as we didn’t have long in Valletta - communication was great, met on time, loved the sites. 5/5 highly recommend!

5k run around Mdina on a beautiful sunny December day. I do a fair bit of running, but have never done a guided tour run, but would highly recommend. Umberto our guide really knows his stuff, and paced the run well to suit our pace. No clock watching either, as he generously tagged on an extra 1k at the end and made the whole thing feel relaxing. Mdina was amazing too. Thanks so much. See you in England when you’re next over!
