We went here for lunch and it was very quiet. Felt like the town had shut down. However it was very beautiful, stunning water, lots of beautiful boats and a lovely walk. Seems a bit more modern than the main city center of Valletta. Certainly worth a stroll, even just to see the big ships and the lovely views.

Ancient arches, acres of old stone, weathered paint and bare wood create a unique charm. Good for a stroll early morning before the heat sets in. Look out for ships mooring bollards that are inverted cannons.

The night view is really amazing. Remember to ride the water boats that take you from Valletta to Birgu. The return tickets is about 3 euros.

To be honest the waterfront is just another place that makes Malta so beautiful. We just strolled alone on various days taking in the views.

Valletta Waterfront has a wide selection of restaurants ranging from Chinese to Mediterranean to American, as well as a number of bars. The view of the Grand Harbour is marvellous with cruise ships stopping right at the Waterfront.

Some great views across the harbour, worth a short walk around the harbour to rejoin the city centre on the upper road.

If you are on a ship, be sure to be on deck when you sail into this port. A most amazing view of the port and city.
