We stayed in the middle of this photo!

Below the dome and next to the church spire in the photo above. An apartment to die for! Central and comfortable.

Came to Malta and we stayed in Mellieha and went to Valletta for a day trip. For us...it was much more picturesque. Very quaint streets that you could wander around . There is a bit of walking involved and at times its bit steep , so it's a bit physical / challenging when you have a buggy or a wheelchair.... More

Although the main reason for my visit to Malta was the 2016 Junior Eurovision song contest, I had never been to Malta and wanted to do some sightseeing and this looked the most opvious option

This is such a beautiful view at night. We drove from St Julians to Sliema and into Gzira along the sea road and finally into Valletta. You park the car along the way and walk on the promenade with lots of restaurants on the way and plenty of shops for clothes etc.The view for the waterfront is memorable with the massive... This area is very nice now with plenty of little shops and resturants that are not over priced. Use lift or bus to get here.

Wonderful views day and night. We took a water taxi for €2 per person to get across to the Three Cities and it's much more peaceful over there.

One of, if not the, most spectacular man made vistas and should be on everyone's bucket list. For the full effect view from the water (hire a boat, take a ferry or a water tour alternatively do as we did and sail in on a cruise ship!) and from the high points of land such as Upper Barrakka Gardens. Needless... More

Caught the ferry to Sliema. Whilst Sliema is more of a tourist spot the view of Valletta from the sea is stunning. I wouldn't recommend Sliema at all, but would suggest a harbour cruise to see the view.

A good place to come if you want a close up look at the massive cruise ships which come into port. Good bars and restaurants with a bit of retail shopping
