The Valletta waterfront is now filled with various restaurants and bars. It mainly gets busy during lunch time and dinner. It's a nice place to go as a couple or with your family for a nice meal or a few drinks. Loads of parking available around the area.

The history of the place just jumps out at you. The level, size and complexity of the walls and fortifications are astounding. There are plenty of museums and attractions to look at but simply walking the walls is a great experience. Be warned though it is somewhat hilly.

unless it's raining out, this is a must walk. The view of both sides of the harbors is something to witness. y wife and I took half a day to walk completely around the city and stopping to take in a few site and museums.

Had a day in Valletta as part of a cruise. After the quick bus tour, I headed back to the old town, theb skirted as much waterfront as I could. Views across the harbor were best appreciated from the waterfront.....people watching too. Postcards cost more along the waterfront. Buy elsewhere Walk as briskly as you can to get as many... More

We walked down here looking for somewhere for lunch but were not pulled in by what was there. It is attractive & I would think when the ships are in it would be buzzing but not when we were there

The Valletta Waterfront is a beautiful place to visit. It's lined with a range of restaurants and some specialty shops. It can be an any day of the week visit.

Approach Valletta by sea for a stunning panorama. The City, Grand Harbour, lighthouses, ferries all compete for your attention. Some quayside shops are open, even in January. Watch out for Saturdays when the Cathedral is closed for services.

We came into the grand harbour on the ferry from Siracusa in the early morning. The sight is truly breath taking with the beautiful blue water, and white sails against the light coloured stone buildings. As part of our tour, it was arranged that our group would have a tour of the harbour in traditional Maltese boats (known as Dghajsas).... More
