Located at the Preluna Hotel and Spa beach resort next to the Fortizza it makes our dive shop perfect for diving when you come to Malta, we have our own dive site with awesome sedimentary under water rock formation making it perfect for doing diving courses, discover scuba diving, try dives and check out dives if you have not dived for some time.

What an amazing place !
Very personal approach. The whole team is so passionate about what they do.
I felt so welcome, you get offered (a very good !) coffee as soon as you arrive. Facilities are great ( showers, changing rooms, gear rinsing facilities).
I only brought my mask and computer and rented the rest. The equipment they offer is top notch : Apex or Aqualung regulator, Xdeep wing.
They choose the best dive sites every day depending on the forecast and make sure that I could explore as many sites as possible during my stay.
The Fortizza tunnels are mesmorizing, I also loved the um el faroud and HMS Maori shipwreck.
Thank you David, Carlos, Anginas & Connie for the great time !
I will come back for sure to explore even more

You were lucky reaching us before the big storm, the facilities unfortunately got damaged, but the working process is going on well, so we will have new facilities when visiting next time and we also have brand new gear! 🤙

The most fun I’ve had while visiting Malta last week, was definitely scuba diving in Malta Blue Diving center! From the moment I messaged them, I was impressed by how responsive the team was to my emails and messages, but once I got there, I was blown away even more!
Their beach club with a swimming pool was lovely, and everyone that I met gave off super friendly and nice vibes by making sure I got there safe from my flight, offering me water and taking care of my belongings while we were in the sea.
Before we went on to explore the underwater world, Carolina, our beautiful Spanish dive instructor gave us a fun theory lesson and taught us the basics of scuba diving in the pool like breathing under water, using the fins and equipment, which gave us the confidence to go into deep waters.
Everything, from the skill practice in the pool to that one open water dive, was the most amazing experience all thanks to her! She was very patient with the two of us and made us feel safe despite the fact that we were a bit nervous as beginners.
I love how we got to dive in a small group of 2, how she followed our tempo without pressuring us and how right after we could take a shower, sunbathe, relax and chill at the beach club. Overall it was a wonderful experience that I know I’ll remember forever!
With all of that being said, I highly recommend that you too chose Malta Blue Diving and take your first steps to become a diver at their center. They strive to provide you with outstanding customer service, and since your enjoyment and safety are their priorities, I can make sure that you will have a fantastic diving experience with them, just like I did!

We had heard that Malta is a great place for diving, particularly around shipwrecks, so my wife booked a slot to learn the SSI shipwreck diving specialty with Malta Blue Diving as a gift for me; they did not disappoint! Everything was very well organised, my instructor Carlos was knowledgeable about the skills and the diving site (HMS Māori, a British destroyer sunk during WWII, an excellent piece of history). To make things even better, the group was very small: just Carlos, another diver (very experienced, a diving instructor herself), and me. This helped me feel very confident since, being still a beginner, I am still getting used to finding my way under water, but diving which such experienced people made things easier.
Besides my training, they had some very tempting options for other fun dives including some night ones, but unfortunately I had a full schedule and I couldn’t join them. I don’t know when I’ll be able to come to Malta again but, when I do, I’ll make sure to return to Malta Blue Diving 😀

I was made to feel extremely welcome for an excellent six days of diving with the team here.
I picked Malta Blue based on the fact they only dive in small groups, it is a SSI Diamond site, and from David's email responses to my questions. Later on, following their Instagram feed, gave me a taste of what was in-store for me.
I completed my Wreck, Deep, and Nitrox certifications; along with a number of fun dives during the week. It was really helpful as a relatively new diver to learn new skills, and get really helpful feedback from each of the different team members here.
I really appreciated the passion they had for diving, and it certainly showed with the detailed briefings, and history about the local wrecks at each site. We saw a selection of different wildlife including a baby cuttlefish on the final dive.
I highly recommend getting in touch with Malta Blue when planning to dive here in Malta!

Excellent dive shop. Not only was the equipment prestine, the service was excellent. Sarah proved her excellent sense of orientation not only down deep below in the wreckage of one of the many beautiful wrecks around Malta, but also while operating the bus of the dive center. Miranda also deserves special mention, as she sold the diveshop to us in mere seconds and no regrets. Cheers!

Not only was the booking process quick, painless and straight-forward, but the staff were literally SO incredible! I was new to scuba diving and Miranda explained everything so clearly that it really put me on ease. She was SO fun and friendly, she even helped identify fun things to do during my stay in Malta (I hope your back is okay!! <3). After Miranda gave me a wonderful lesson, Carol took me in the sea and she was so calm and lovely and it was clear that when she needed to look after me she quickly jumped to it. She helped point out some interesting creatures in the sea and made the experience so exciting!
I enjoyed it so much I went back another time! I believe the lady who took me on this session was named Sarah (she was a French lady) and she was fabulous too.
All the staff were so friendly I really can't recommend this place enough!
Miranda, Carol and Sarah I cannot thank you enough for providing me a memory for life. Hope you're all well <3

An amazing diving day with Malta Blue diving center. These were my 86th and 87th dives and I can say that especially the dive at Um El Faroud wreck, was one of my best ever. Impessed by Malta blue team from the begining of my comunication by mails, till I was at the diving center.Davind and Miranda were very friendly and helpfull. The equipment in perfect condition and everything went smoothly. David was patient and showing care that you are having the best dive, something that shows how much he loves what he is doing. I can only highly recommend Malta Blue Diving Center. Thank you and I hope to see you again at my next trip to Malta.

Did my open water course at Malta Blue Diving. It was very relaxed from start to finish. Most of the course was taught to me by Sarah Guertin. She was really chill and patient, wanting you to understand the theory and making sure you are performing the skills without haste. We went through everything without problem and that gave me great confidence in the water. I recommend doing your open water course and specialties at this diving center!

By way of background, I have been diving for 36 years! I've been all over the world. I say this not to boast but to put into context my comments.
This dive operation is one of the most professional i have used. excellent equipment and great service. the wreck dive penetration was brilliant - almost on par with Truck Lagoon or Bikini Atoll.

Amazing time with this team. David the owner is amazing. i did my deep dive certification with Carlos and him. they brought me to see beautiful wrecks. they also limit the amount of people per group (i believe it's 4 to 6 ) to dive so we don't end up to be 12 people diving together and they really take care of me. Thanks

I looked into the reviews and must say they are very encouraging. I love swimming which is why I am looking forward to also try diving in my forthcoming Malta visit, with Blue dive. But, I am also a photographer, and unfortunately do not have a scope to take my own camera underwater. Is there a possibility with the centre to take pictures of our dives?

Absolutely, we do what we call "Try Scuba", where you can discover scuba diving with us as a beginner. You will have some theory, some practice in the pool that is in front of our dive center and then a dive or two, as you want :-)

the one we did was about 45 min if I remember right. They were flexible about time so if the are not fully booked then you decide together with the instructor.
