We took the North Bus route. It was 20 eur a person. It was a hop-on hop-off option. The bus is not uber comfortable and many of the headset jacks were not working. Those that were working to give you the historical information in your language, were low volume. I gave up trying to learn and just took int he... More

We arrived in Malta on the MSC Preziosa on 28th June and when we left the ship we were approached by a ticket seller. We thought 10 Euros a ticket was a reasonable price and joined an ever-growing queue at around 10.30am. It became obvious quite quickly that if a bus arrived we wouldn’t all get on. There were three... More

We took the south tour and stopped twice. Once at Marsaxlokk fishing village with the market and once at the blue grotto. It wouldn't be possible to make too many stops. This took most of the day up on a Sunday as it was. The audio commentary was difficult to hear at times. If you plan on travelling around I... More

Poor value for money, unreliable pick up times and service ends far too early in the day. We spent 20 Euros each for a one day pass for this operation and were thoroughly disappointed with almost every aspect of it. While it goes to all the main tourist destinations, the pick up and drop off points can be significantly different... More

We pre-booked our two day tickets online but the bus drivers don't recognise the paperwork. One of the competions staff (Malta Sightseeing) helped us and spoke to the driver of the next bus and we were allowed on board and provided with a bus ticket in exchange for our online ticket. Not sure why the first driver didn't do the... More

Spent a full day hopping on and off these buses. Great way to get your bearings around this beautiful island. We managed both tours in one day (it's our second visit & had already done the North one) but we didn't get off many times. Gives you a great understanding of the island and enables you to decide where you'd... More

Have used a number of Hop on Hop off buses around the world and been happy with the service. However the Malta service was woeful. With cruise liners in port they have overcrowded buses which did not keep to any of the advertised timetables. We spent at least 2 hours standing in the hot sun at various locations waiting for... All over Malta you get harassed to buy bus/boat tickets :-/ We paid 15 euros each from St Georges bay and traveled north Malta to pass Medina and St Pauls bay. Other passengers we saw had paid 20 euros each depends who you buy your tickets from. This bus trip passed through Valetta and lasted over 3 hours we got... More

Though I would recommend to book in the late afternoon or early morning for a bit to hot weather..the best is to stay up opened roof.if u feel hot u can always go down were is air conditioned...
