Excellent way to see area around Mdina and Rabat. Very scenic and informative. Train stops at lovely view points for photos. After train ride walk inside the walls of Mdina.

At the end of the day this was the perfect way to do some sightseeing without doing any more walking. It gives a flavour of the area and whets your appetite to come back and visit again....perfect little trip.

A attraction for children. You can go around all the interesting places in Mdina and Rabat without getting off the "train". You will appreciate this idea if the temperature is higher than 25 degrees Celsius

The train is located outside Mdina - in front of the Domus Romana. This is a trackless train and really something to combine with touring Mdina. It is only about 30 minutes but gives you an opportunity to see a little bit... More

Tickets available on the "train" itself. Not sure though that it is worth the ride.
