Quirky museum with models representing forms of torture in pastimes. There are boards around inside that tell you further detail also. The muesum is fairly small; it doesn't take long to get round but it is worth a visit; especially for the €5 entrance fee.

This museum was the most fascinating I have ever been to. It may be the subject matter, or that it was actually built inside the location where it all happened! This is a museum that depicts true to history and gruesome (not for the faint...More

Mdina Dungeons is a little underrated monument in Mdina and is very interesting. I recommend visiting this place especially on hot days, when the heat is just annoying.

5 euros to get in. The exhibits are a bit naff but there are comprehensive descriptions of what the exhibits are. Informative about the history of Crime and Punishment in Malta.

Gives an insight into the brutality of the past - particularly the inquisition years Certainly glad I was not here - or in any part of Europe during this period. Our ancestors certainly had to be of resilient stick to survive!

Not ideal for young children good trip not expensive very interesting sound effects and life size exhibits don’t take it too seriously nervous people could get upset

Every exhibit included a description that was both educational and alarming. Descriptive, gruesome, dark and creepy...just what you'd expect in a dungeon. Actually, what we experienced was much more than what we had expected. It was worth the time and visit.

An excellent and informative tour of various torture methods and events in Malta’s long history. Great value, well detailed and cosy to walk around
