This is nice cathedral outside the Valletta old city which houses many streets within a fortress consisting of many shops, restaurants, bars etc. So you get two excursions in one hit. This cathedral has a park where you can relax and take in the absolutely...More

Whilst in Mdina, the city of Silence, I came across this lovely church and went in. Beautifully crafted both outside and inside. Very peaceful and quiet inside. Worth looking at if you are already inside Mdina.

It is nice old cathedral but not so decorated as the St.John's cathedral in Vallette, but the floors filled with nicelay decorated death announcements are very attractive.

Any visit to Mdina would include time spent in this historic building. The admission fee includes entry to the nearby Cathedral Museum which should not be missed.

A wonderfull private Mass for nearly 900 people in the presence of the Archbishop of Malta who presided and preached. The cathedral is magnificent in every way and to see everyone so smartly dressed was a real joy

We enjoyed having a wander around the museum which had some interesting bits of history, the gallery upstairs is easily missed but has some great pieces of artwork. The cathedral was very beautiful to look around and take a moment. Would recommend a visit.

It's open at six for mass which is fine if you wish to go there for that reason but if you are sightseeing then you will (should) hang about until it is over.
