Initially we ducked into this museum as it was raining and we wanted to wait it out. It's pretty cheap and while some of the displays are a little dated, there are still interesting items and information about local nature. There is a particularly impressive...More

We went to the Natural History Museum just inside the gateway of Mdina with open minds. Which was just as well as the place is ghastly. The interior looks like an Institution with lots of stairs and no lifts that I could see. Animals/reptiles were...More

Exhibits are fine but nothing that special. Lots of dead animals and the building smells damp and musty. Wouldn't recommend as there are lots of better museums in malta.

Although comparatively small , the museum houses an array of local fauna . As you would expect a large portion is dedicated to marine wildlife. Laid out over three floors there are a lot of steps. At times you can still get the impression of...More

Went in as my Heritage Malta tickets included this place. It has some very interesting collections from skeletons, coins, bugs and minerals. Okay place but not much I haven't seen in other places.

The museum is rather small, but you should pay a visit. you can understand more about Malta's islands and flora and fauna.

Lovely museum. Within short time (one hour) You get to see one of the best mosaics and a lot of information about romans on the maltese islands. Highly recommended, if You are into history subjects.

It was a small museum worth a looksie I suppose. It was included in a tour we were on so I am not sure what the ticket fee was. If it’s more than $10US it might not be worth it in my opinion.

There is a great collection of minerals, very well arranged and a great variety of fossils. The collections aren't as rich as in some other museums but are authentic and most of the things there excluding the mineral collection are found in Malta.

Hello, I don't recall seeing anything like this at the museum so I would assume that it is exhibited at the museum on Gozo. Thanks.
