I visited the store within the city of Mdina. I was overwhelmed by all the gorgeous choices. The shop assistants were so kind. I shipped 6 fairly large pieces back to the U.S. I was nervous about possible breakage. I was incredibly impressed with how well the package was wrapped! Not a single item damaged. It's clear the box was... More

The brightly covered glass sparkles as you arrive. The area of glass blowing is exciting. Watching a piece of glass move from fire to the blow, to the shapes, and the cutting and it's amazing. its very addictive watching.. then enter into the shop... hold onto your prices tags.. whooooah.. this glass is good but .. is it that good.... It was one of the few areas of the Ta Qali Craft village where one could see crafts being demonstrated. There is a very big showroom. The glass is expensive but beautiful. Was very disappointed in the 'seconds'. Most were broken - I was expecting minor flaws which stopped them being perfect. Much better seconds at Valetta Glass and better... More

This shop at the entrance to Mdina has a stunning selection of glassware of every imaginable description . Prices are pretty reasonable too considering the quality and they post overseas . Yes -we bought there. Who wouldn't !!

Mdina glass is stunning in shapes and colours, with some beautiful distinctive patterns. Not all pieces are costly, though there are some very valuable pieces for sale. The displays are stunning, but take care with your back packs not to knock anything off the shelves as your trip could be very costly indeed. There are items for sale which are... More

The shop is the largest glass shop i've ever seen. there are so many products they make, from small beautiful marbles to magnificent lanterns and chandeliers. Yes you have to make sure you tell children not to touch anything like i did with my kids. They have sections of 'seconds' or pieces of glass that maybe slightly broken or not... More

Fabulous products made out of glass if you can afford it. A little ornament will cost you 10 euros and a vase will cost you about 35 euros. If you can afford that worthwhile otherwise I recommend giving it a miss.

What a variety and you also have a chance to watch the glass blowers. The gift shop also mail packages if your purchases are large and this service is not expensive. The glassware is absolutely beautiful and there is something for everyone.

Visited this glassworks and shop on a trip to the craft village. This was the place I had particularly wanted to visit given that it is the original Maltese glassmaker, however although it is nice, I wouldn't say I was as wowed by it as I was expecting to be. I found the glass blowing display a little dull compared... More
