I hadn't ridden for many years, but decided to book a 90 minute sunset ride at Golden Bay while in Malta. I was a bit nervous and was paired with Brandy, who was an absolute gentleman! Honestly, if I could have fit him in my hand luggage, I would have had to bring him home 😁 Mario was absolutely amazing, from the booking process weeks before I flew out, right up until the end of the ride. He is so knowledgeable and passionate, and his dedication is evident. He knows every single one of his horses so well and I loved hearing about their individual stories. Having had horses when I was younger, I can definitely vouch for the fact that these horses are extremely well loved and cared for. They were all in such beautiful condition and very relaxed and happy. Mario walked out with us on foot and ensured that we were all safe and comfortable at all times. His quick wit and banter took my mind off any nerves! The scenery is just divine and the sunset took my breath away. A 90 minute sunset ride cost 40 euros, which I think it exceptional value for money. Whether you're a beginner or advanced rider, I would highly recommend Golden Bay for an unforgettable experience!

Thoroughly enjoyed this activity - very well organized right from start to finish . Mario communicated very well with me via emails when I booked this activity and was very accomodating when I had to reschedule this a couple times due to clashes with other activites. The horses were very well cared for and well behaved. We did the sunset ride which was absolutely gorgeous and the views were breathtaking. Highly recommend it. Mario took pride in his horses and was showing us what he fed them and how they were stalled since we were asking him .

My best friend treated me to 60 minutes of horse riding. This was the first time I ever got onto a horse so I was rather apprehensive. We were running late due to intense traffic and when the owner called to see if we were on our way we explained we were 5 minutes away. The owner told us not to worry and he was there waiting for us! I cannot give enough compliments to the 3 members who were there to assist us. However I have to give a very special mention to KIM! This young girl who led us for our ride was incredible. Not only was she a pro, she was dedicated, kind, polite, interesting and more importantly made me feel very confident and reassured. You could tell she adored the horses and spoke to us all the way about them. Giving us tips of what to do and how to treat them. We had such a great time and it was really thanks to her! We will definitely be back and we will bring friends! Keep up the great work Kim! You are a natural :)
