We took the 45 minute high speed ferry from Valletta in the morning to Gozo, on our own to begin our day.
I had been in contact with Paul a month before arrival at Mayjo by email before our arrival to Malta, and had made all the necessary arrangements.
We arrived in Gozo, walked off the Ferry, and within minutes we began our private 6 hour tour on the island with Jason driving for Mayjo car hire.
Jason was holding a sign with our name, at our planned spot and he welcomed us, as we joined him in the air conditioned van.
The day he said was ours, it was flexible , but he had some ideas and recommendations. We enjoyed his suggestions and appreciated his enthusiasm as he shared many stories of the island.
He took us to some areas which were not touristy spots which we enjoyed a lot.
We even tried some local snacks -Pastizzi - a ricotta cheese one, and a pea one, both delicious , from a shop he stopped at.
We visited the Xwejni Salt Pans, and purchased some salt here.
Saw many things including Victoria’s Citadel, Dwejra - took a short boat tour at our cost through the rocks, cathedral, checked out some view points, beach areas, windmill, and enjoyed our day.
Taking us back in perfect time to meet our afternoon ferry, Jason parked the van and kept the air conditioning going for us while the ferry emptied and it was time for us to board.
Before arriving to Malta, We looked at number of tours on Trip advisor before selecting Mayjo , and were very glad to be able to have our day just as we wanted it, and with the heat, it was perfect to have our own vehicle, schedule, adventures and activities adjusting them as we went.

Booked online from the uk . The company emailed me if we wanted to call at office or they would pick us up at our hotel. We had them pick us up and drove us to the office where they showed us the car and went through all of the details. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, the whole process couldn’t have been more efficient,I would definitely recommend them and will be using them again when we come back to Gozo, thanks again

Paul was excellent in terms of communication with us prior to our arrival. Scott waved us down as we got off the ferry and our great 3 hrs began. While not a native, Scott knows Gozo and loves sharing his knowledge. An excellent driver, he took great care of us. We can highly recommend MayJo due to their professional and kind staff.

What a fantastic day! Our guide for the day, Paul, was excellent. We had no fixed plans and relied on his knowledge and expertise. The 6hrs simply flew by. Thank you Mayjo and thanks again Paul for a lovely day.

Wow, Paul knows Gozo. We scheduled MayJo to pick us up at the airport and take us to Malta. We quickly connected with Paul and he suggested a 4 hour tour. Today's tour was awesome, Paul's driving skills are only surpassed by his local knowledge of Gozo. We have never seen Gozo like this before, having a local guide to get to unique, not just the touristy places, is 100% worth it. If you are looking for a custom visit, MayJo are the people to book with.

We used Mayjo for our car hire and airport transfers and they gave a great service.
Staff were friendly and efficient.
The cars we hired were delivered on time and direct to our apartment and collected when not required so we didn’t even have to drop them off.

As a solo traveler arriving late in the evening in Malta, I was a bit anxious about my journey. However, Mayjo transfer service were so helpful in the booking process and as planned were there on my arrival at the airport. They provided an efficient service. I had split transfer journeys to and from the island of Gozo which involved 4 journeys with 4 different drivers. Each driver was there to greet me on time and each were friendly, helpful with luggage and excellent drivers. Absolutely delighted and highly recommend.

We had a transfer from Malta Airport to Zebbug on Gozo on July 23rd, 2023. The friendly driver (Morris) met us on time at the exit, helped us with our suitcases and drove very carefully. When we arrived at our accommodation, he also helped us with our suitcases. He gave us very good recommendations and tips for our vacation. It was our first time ever on Gozo and we would happily recommend the Mayio transfer. Full marks. Thank you very much. We will come back and book the transfer there.

We rented a car from Mayjo for a days touring around Gozo.
They had a driver waiting for us at the harbour who took us to the office in Victoria in order to pick up our a car, ( a rather strange individual who spent most of the drive telling us how bad Gozitan drivers are !)
Once at the office the booking was carried out as agreed beforehand with no sneaky hidden extras.
We were able to return the car to the harbour which was very convenient.
All in all I would thoroughly recommend Mayjo and would definitely hire from them again.

I have used Mayjo for a number of years for both airport transportation and car rental, and always experienced first class service 🙌. Today I found my rental car with an unfortunate puncture 😳. I phoned Mayjo and they were brilliant 🙌. «No problem Sir, we will fix it asap.» What a fantastic company 😃🙌🙌. Everything was sorted, «mint» 💪. Can’t recommend them highly enough 👍💪👍
