This citadel sits up on the hill, you can't miss it. Entry is free I to the citadel itself though there are entry fees for some of the sights inside. Great views over the entire area from the walls.

We arrived in Victoria via the excellent bus service and were initially alarmed. The first square is workers territory. Head through and you are in the historic squares. Be aware that if you are that ‘certain’ age (fat, fair and forty) there are lots of...More

The views and architecture were breath-taking. Unfortunately, so, too, were the ramps--for a very different reason. They exceeded the 10% grade that is considered safe--and did so more times than we'd care to remember. The cathedral is accessible for wheelchair users by way of a...More

Yes, you can walk around the citadel at night, in fact it is a lovely time to see it, as there are no tourists around. The lights of various towns can be seen on Gozo which is also great to see. We wandered up there after... More

There's a small car park at the top of the hill next to the wall, very close to the entrance. We paid around 2€ for as long as we wanted.

Reference should be ok but check with the agent. He should have given you a phone number. Or ask your hotel to check.
