Gozo and Comino Islands: including Blue Lagoon, Crystal Lagoon & caves

335 reviews
Get away from the main island of Malta in search of sea and sunshine on this tour from Bugibba. Visit the Crystal Lagoon (if traveling in June-October), followed by the Blue Lagoon on Comino for swimming and snorkeling. From here, continue to Gozo Island, where you have the choice of enjoying free time at your leisure or taking a tour of the island's historic sites before cruising back to Bugibba via the Santa Maria pirate caves.

Can be quite pleasant to stop here for a bit and rest from the heat. Cat lovers will absolutely love this spot...

Right next to the Duke Shopping Centre these delightful gardens are beautifully maintained and a lovely way to while away an hour or so. Some lovely statues and some impressive plants and trees, some of which, were planted over 100 years ago. A lot of thought has gone into the use of space and colour in this garden and the centrepiece bridge is lovely.

We entered by way of the beautiful big gates on Republic Street. The gardens date back to around 1910 and you can view many trees dating back to when it opened. The gardens are small but nicely laid out, quiet and tranquil, or at least they were for us on a bright November morning. We could see from the little “lock ups” dotted around that they obviously hold events here. The opening times are different for winter and summer, so best to check this before yo go in as they close the gates. There are also well equipped and clean public conveniences.

There are not many gardens in Gozo but this one in central Victoria is worth a visit. Small but very well maintained.

Hands down the most spectacular, well kept garden and park I have seen in Malta. Such a great little park, quite and spacious accessible to anyone. I stumbled across this park while waiting upon a restaurant in the city of Victoria to open. I had my ore made sandwich to eat and this park seemed so welcoming and bright, full of colors from the flowers and palm trees that dotted around the park. Well maintained and weeded properly with a great amount of seating areas as well as the use of public toilets which I must say were in great condition for a public park. Great place for kids to run about or just a place to sit and listen to the church bells! Definitely worth a visit when in Victoria, Gozo.
