There is a lovely walk you can do through the salt pans. You can either take the road and see them from above, or go literally along them. Just beware that you should not step on them, as some of them are still used.

This review is based more on the area. I am a diver and travel here for 30 days of diving every year (Lucky me!!) This is an area where diving is easy so is often a check out dive. The views are stunning. Lots of locals swim around here as its quite sheltered. (Be careful of stinging jelly fish however) A couple of cafes nearby but the sort of shack on the road is ace for basics. I would highly recommend Gozo anyway but this area too is nice…

Lovely little bay which when we visited (May) was not too busy. The salt pans are particularly interesting as I'd not seen anything like them before. Just a shame there is no information there about how and when they are used.

This beautiful bay is situated on the outskirts of Marsalforn. The bay itself is ideal for swimming, snorkelling and diving. On the rocky beach you are able to hire sun umbrellas and sun loungers. A 20 minute walk around the headland takes you into Marsalforn. There a 're a number of dive sites accessible from the bay or just round the corner, including double and triple arch, the infamous washing machine and the labyrinth, where you will usually find plenty of life and especially octopus. Be careful to adhere to the required rules for keeping away from the slipway, due to required boat access. In peak season the bay is served by two very reasonably priced kiosks, with great food. The infamous beautiful salt pans are also just round the corner from the bay.…

We climbed the hill and the view was really nice. The beach was full of divers and swimmers so we decide to not to swim there. But I am sure it would be worth as anywhere in Gozo.
