Lovely little bay which when we visited (May) was not too busy. The salt pans are particularly interesting as I'd not seen anything like them before. Just a shame there is no information there about how and when they are used.

This beautiful bay is situated on the outskirts of Marsalforn. The bay itself is ideal for swimming, snorkelling and diving. On the rocky beach you are able to hire sun umbrellas and sun loungers. A 20 minute walk around the headland takes you into Marsalforn....More

We climbed the hill and the view was really nice. The beach was full of divers and swimmers so we decide to not to swim there. But I am sure it would be worth as anywhere in Gozo.

lovely bay, but beware odd currents 5-6 p.m. It is a pity that the surroundings are not graced with some more facilities, not the concrete-over type mind you! It is reached if one walks through St Mary Street from Marsalforn direction Qbajjar. The sad thing...More

We loved that quiet, tiny beach on the outskirts of Marsalforn. It is usually attented by the locals and divers. Crystalline water, lovely surroundings and easy parking makes it a perfect place to relax. I must add we haven't seen all the beaches in Gozo,...More

If you would like to escape the weekend crowds at Ramala Bay or Hondoq, I would recommend this little Bay favoured by the locals for its clear calm waters and easy access. Stony beach, however, easy access to the water from a slipway and sun...More

Xwejni (pronounced Shway-nee) is a little bay in the North of the island of Gozo, near the popular summer resort of Marsalforn and beneath Zebbug. The pebbly beach has some patches of sand, much enjoyed by children. Martin hires out umbrellas and sun beds, but...More
