About
Growing 32.000 vines on 8 hectares of land spread on 6 different locations. With lots of care, passion and hard work the vines give us grapes for 10 different wines produced in total quantity of up to 30.000 bottles per year. We are Lepa Vida. And you are always welcome to Osek, Vipava valley, Slovenia!

My husband and I visited the Lepa Vida Boutique Winery in March 2023 and our tour guide arranged with Irena for a tasting. Since we were in the off-season, we happened to be the only guests for the tasting that day. Irena was very personable, knowledgeable, and passionate about viticulture. Throughout the course of the tasting she not only explained what to expect with each individual wine, but also took the time to explain the winemaking process, the differences with native grape species, the history of the winery (one of the oldest privately owned in the former Yugoslavia), and Slovenian wine culture in general. We had nice food accompaniment, and the tasting room was beautiful overlooking the vineyard. If you are visiting Slovenia and enjoy wine, this is the place to visit.

We did NOT taste wine at Lepa Vida. I feel compelled to leave a review, however, as the hostess gave us a fantastic recommendation of where we could go to eat and taste some local wine. I was really impressed with how helpful she was and determined to make sure that we were well served. With this brief but powerfully positive impression, I can only imagine what it would have been like if we had experienced her hospitality in the tasting room.
We were wondering around the region looking for a vineyard. Usually we do our research on TA first, but this was an impromptu trip. We came across this vineyard and drove in. The hostess met us at our car and told us that her next wine tasting wasn't for another couple of hours. She offered to book us into the next tasting but then suggested if we would like to have some fantastic food and local wine without a booking we could go to a nearby village. We followed her suggestion and went there and had a fantastic experience. I am grateful for her selfless recommendation and vowing to book the Lepa Vida tour next time! Thank you!

Loved your contemporary look of the wine tasting venue. The host Irina was well prepared, well spoken, interesting and engaging. Great story with the names of the wines as well as the labels. Would recommend the visit to your winery to anyone.

Lovely clean and inviting venue, welcoming knowledgeable host, beautiful views over the vineyard. Delicious high quality wines and snacking food. We had a wonderful day, after we didn't feel rushed to leave, we were welcomed to stay and enjoy wine in the court yard and on the swing chairs. Very peaceful. Highly recommend!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting experience at Lepa Vida. The owner of the winery and wife of the wine maker did the tasting. She was engaging and informative, and the wines were outstanding. And, the spread of food that they set out was excellent as well. Wish we could get their wines in the US.

Family is very warm. The wines are all very tasty and everyone will find suitable for himself. They did not rush and took the time to show both cellars as vineyards. The wines are affordable. Matija is a remarkable storyteller of wine and flavors.

The wine tasting includes 8 different wines and some cheese and charcuterie (vegetarian option available). Our host was a very welcoming and entertaining young lady. She was very knowledgeable about the wines of the region and also gave us recommendations for the rest of our journey around Slovenia! Would 100% recommend! Also very reasonable price!

I've been on wine tasting in about 30 countries on five continents. This was one of, if not, my favourite ever. The winemaker joined the group of four of us. It was everything you could hope for- great wines, great stories, grapes I'd never had before. phenomenal. GO.

My husband and I decided to try our luck at booking a wine tasting with Lepa Vida on the day of our visit. They very kindly accommodated us and boy, what we would have missed otherwise! Matija led us on a journey of Slovenia, the geography, historical background, climate, which provided context of our extraordinary wine tasting session. He is very dedicated and passionate about his craft. We really enjoyed his company and of course, his wines! Highly recommended!

Hello to California,
Very exact cost is 20 EUR per person for a wine tasting of 5+ wines together with home made snacks.
You can pay in cash or by credit card.
Please, let us know at least an hour prior to your arrival. And please use TripAdvisor map or GoogleMaps to get to us. (other GPS devices may take you a bit away).
