About Rafting Camp Highlander
Rafting Camp Highlander is the agency specializes in adventure tourism. For more than 18 years we have been organizing a rafting tour on the rivers Tara and Drina, canyoning excursions through the Nevidio Canyon and Hrcavka Canyon, hiking and trekking excursions, mountain biking and jeep safari through the National Park Sutjeska and Durmitor. Camp is located on the right side of the Drina Canyon, with wooden bungalows, built in a mountain style. We offer our guests comfortable accommodation and free parking and WiFi, and what makes the guests always return to us is delicious homemade food made in our restaurant (organic food). After each adventure, our guests can enjoy in Camp near the fire with the sounds of acoustic music and a large selection of local and traditional specialties (lamb and veal under the hips (sac), fresh fish, hot bread, a large selection of pie and cheese, homemade cream (kajmak), prosciutto and sweet delicacies). Dear Friends, welcome to Rafting Camp Highlander!

Highlander is an obligatory address of those who like at the same time feel peace, adventure, rest and fun :) For me this place is specially emotional because the stuff give their best to help me organize everything in order for me to propose to my girlfriend at the top of Maglic (highest point in Bosnia and Herzegovina). Big thanks for Sladjana and Dragana who gave me an idea of where would be the perfect point for this event. Of course, this would not be possible without Ogi our guide through the mountains who who carried champaign glasses to the top :D and least but not last, to everybody in the camp for making our stay special.

I usually don’t like to write these reviews, but I have to thank the entire camp staff, who are like one big family. Regarding their hospitality, raising the overall impression to some far higher level, again this year. Great food, great music, the domestic atmosphere are all you need in a place like a rafting camp. I would especially like to praise all the skippers, who with their professionalism, despite the strict rules, manage to harmonize and satisfy all the guests with all their wishes for breaks, sightseeing, and all other desires. Special thanks to the new young member of the skipper team named Stefan (Dugi), who, although young, was more than a professional and equal member of that well-coordinated skipper team. Departure from the camp with "light" melodies of AC/DC, Iron Maiden, and other rock greats, drastically raises the adrenaline and emphasizes only a part of what you can expect during the raft and in such a wonderful place as Highlander Camp. P.S. See you next year if we fail to visit you again this year
