Interesting natural fenomen. Nice to visit if you are in this part of Bosnia. Visitors needs to study some maps before visit because it is hard to find specialy because there is no clear marcation and signs. From main road it is about 6 km to sand pyramids. Road is not good, so be careful with small cars. For best pictures try to visit before 13:00 because sun is on oposit side.

Very unusulay attraction for the area. Extraordinary geological phenomena can be found near Dančići village not far from Miljevina. It is just by the old road to Foča not far from Miljevina coal mine - this is the shortest way to there. The road to the attraction is in very poor condition, no matter from which side you travel therefore I would strongly recommend to carefully pick the weather and the vehicle; 4x4 would be the best pick but it could be any vehicle that is not too close to the ground and with the tyre height 65+. In case you are accessing the site from Foča you should be staying strictly on the main road no matter how strange it may appear occasionally. The pyramides consist of clay, sand and gravel. They are shaped by the rain, snow, wind, ... some believe that their beauty excede those in Sedona, Arizona, US. Well, I'm lucky, I have seen now both and I would not compare them ... different in origin and size. Once you are in the area you should not miss this location. There is nothing around so bring your own water, food, coffee ... but please take all your litter with you upon your departure. Access is also free of charge but be careful where you park or how you use your car or motorcycle.

The entrance way where the sign was out on the main road was confusing. It's about a
8 kilometer ride up a very small road. You don't need a 4 wheel drive but during a rain event there could be horrible muddy and flooded sections. Go slow cause the road can handle one car at a time and not a lot of room to pull over, very windy and hard to see around the corners. Cows may be on the road. There are lots of driveways and roads going off so stay straight and on the main road. There is no parking thankfully we were there by ourselves and after 4-5 back and forth we managed to turn the car around to leave. There is no bathroom. It took about 20 mins each way to drive. Once we got there we were surprised by the photo we saw earlier to what was really there. Beautiful red dirt spheres lined up for viewing right in front of you. No barriers what so ever so you must mind the edge which looked like it could give way and down you go...down a big cliff. Death or serious injury may occur so I would be very careful. If you have time to spare go see this during a nice day and stay away with rain.

It is just perfect out there: silent without any other tourists! Maybe that's because everyone is afraid of the devastating street ;) We went to the pyramides by our little camper (without 4x4!! 2,50x5,50m long). If the weather is dry, there is no problem to get there as long as you're driving carefully and slowly.

Great place to visit, but 4 star for bad road toward place. You can go there with car, but I suggest to use bicycle or walk.

The place is extraordinary. It's fascinating who nature is such a wonderful artist. The only thing that I found bad, was the road to the pyramides, would be great to invest a bit more into the infrastructure. Except for that, we were stunned
