Instead of a long drive, we took the ferry with the company to the West Fjords. Saved a few hours on the road, and saved my husband some time behind the wheel. When I booked the trip, I could see my credit card was charged...More

Easy ferry ride with Car. About 2.5- 3 hrs brief pause at Flatley Island. Then drive on to Breidavík in search of Puffins and other seabirds. Ferry was gloomy/foggy but not Seatours responsibility. Reportedly this has been gloomiest summer in Iceland in a long time...More

Organisation went like clockwork; everyone lined up half an hour before our on-time departure and all cars were on board in about 25 minutes. The ship is large and there’s plenty of room to sit. The café on the bottom deck has a small menu...More

This was an offer from the Seatours for cancelling our ferry trip, which we found very nice and interesting. It was a wonderful day with totally calm water to spend on the boat and enjoy stunning sceneries around Stykkisholmur for about 2 hours. And of...More

Quite expensive and in September there is not much wildlife except for a few birds. It's nice to go around the islands and learning about the geology is very interesting. The highlight of the tour has to be when they catch shellfish and serve it...More

This is just a 2 hour boat ride, but a lot of fun. Seals and many birds including white tailed eagle. They drag a trawl in the bay and catch urchins, starfish and scallops. The scallops are served up fresh with wasabi and soy sauce....More

No, if I remember right, you purchase ticket for a car and indicate number of passengers. The system calculates it automatically. For two persons and a car we paid about 110€ one way.
