We will sail around the main island, Heimaey, and visit various spots. Sail by the new lava, see puffins and other seabirds and even sail into a sea cave and enjoy the acoustic with some music.

We had a blast on the 2-hour ribsafari tour and saw many beautiful islands and seabirds while we whizzed over swells on the 800 HP RIB. Birta was a wonderful guide telling us many stories (some true, some not so true) and Gunni was an incredible pilot with great job satifaction. I would not have minded if all the “running” music was all ABBA all the time (or all Ride of the Valkyries)!! Highly recommended

Just returned from lovely tour with “B” and fabulous captain. Our guide was delightful and a great story-teller. Highly recommend - the perfect weather may helped (and spotted minke whale, seal… but no puffins)

Great experience. We had a great local guide with a super personality and sense of humor who added a lot of personal stories that were wonderful. Loved learning about the baby puffin "rescues" and she even had a baby puffin, which we got to watch get released. One of the highlights of our three weeks in Iceland.

Very fun and interesting boat trip around the island. The guide was very informative and took the time to explain a lot of truly eccentric facts -- such as sheep herding on steep cliffs, with the only way to get to the cliffs is by climbing a rope from the sea. Also, the reasoning behind the singular large mansions on the smaller islands - one mansion per island.
We saw many puffins (largest puffin colony in the world) as well as 5 to 6 killer whales swimming (and jumping) in the ocean. Elephant rock was interesting.
I had a number of questions prior to booking and Ribsafari answered all of them in a very timely manner -- good customer service.
I highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful tour around parts of Heimaey, with local guide Birta, who gives us many interesting and fun stories about life on Heimaey, and growing up there, and the other Westman Islands. Highly recommended.

The 1.5 hour boat tour was a highlight of our trip to Iceland! Our guide was funny and informative and gave a great sense of what living on the island is like - every story she told was fascinating! We saw so many aspects of the Westman Islands and learned about things we were able to enjoy after the boat ride (e.g., going to the puffin blind)!
After the tour, we had an issue with our ferry tickets back to the mainland and the staff here jumped in to help us - going above and beyond what anyone would expect - showing the hospitality and kindness of this amazing culture and its people. We will never forget how they took care of us!

I reccommend the cruise. Excellent guide and views! You can see entire island and if lucky you can spot some whales in summer.
