They picked us up from cross roads one block from our hotel in the evening. There were about 7 of us in the Super Jeep all bundled up ready to go. We made a short stop to go to the bathroom in a really cool local museum (it's on my list to visit next time!), then we were off headed towards our spot to search for the Northern Lights. We waited for about three hours and just when we thought we were going home with only seeing stars so bright my iPhone 11 could pick them up, the famous light show started to dance right before our eyes. The green and yellow lights were striped across the sky. We saw mostly green and yellow waves, with some blues as the hour progressed. They gave us a pastry, hot chocolate, and a local l'chiam! They took our picture and a group picture and emailed them to us. We highly recommend putting pocket warmers in your shoes and pockets before you step out of the jeep and wait in the freezing cold air. We highly recommend this group as it gave us all we wanted: friendly and informative guides, a warm treat, photos with their amazing camera, and the light show that brought us to see this beautiful country in the first place!

We did this tour as part of our honeymoon back in February, as both of us have always wanted to see the northern lights. It was breathtaking. From being picked up and dropped to our hotel door and the size of the group this is exceptional value for money. Our guide Throstur was very knowledgeable, and took us directly to a place where there was very minimal light pollution and we got to see the lights in all their glory and had some fantastic pictures as well. Highly recommended to anyone who is visiting Iceland, it was the highlight of our time away! Many thanks!

Wow. What a fun way to see the lights. Small group, excellent guide (we were with Astpor and Marius ) and professional pictures included. Well worth the price. I have been on bus tours to see the lights -- they take you to one place (shared by many many buses), while Happy World will move to different secluded spots if need be. If you're a novice with Aurora hunting and don't have he right camera equipment with you, don't worry. The guides, who have a lot of photography experience with the lights, take the photos for you and "with" you in it. It's an absolutely great souvenir to take home from Iceland. Hot chocolate and local stories filled the night. Note: Do read their recommendations for what to wear especially if your're going in the winter. There is a lot to say about layering and you will be happy you did. Take along hand and feet warmers as a backup. After all, you are there to enjoy the lights and company and if the lights don't come out do, do try again. Schedule your viewing when you first arrive to Iceland so you have some time to try again if the lights are cooperating the first night.

We did this tour on our first night in Iceland and it didn't disappoint. Our guides were Astpor and Marius who were great. We went to our first location where we could see the northern lights but faintly then some unexpected clouds appeared so they drove about an hour to another destination where the lights were amazing! Overall there were 8 or 9 of us split in to 2 jeeps which was a nice number. The guides took amazing photos which were emailed to us the following day and even when we were all getting very cold they noticed and kept our spirits up! At the end of the tour they gave us the most delicious hot chocolate and also a shot of icelandic spirit brennivin. They were so knowledgable about the lights but also about the night sky and stars in general which was really nice. Overall a great tour - small tour size and guides who wont stop until they find the northern lights (as long as its possible that night). On a practical note wrap up warm!! This was the coldest we got on our whole trip to iceland, prepare for a late night and be aware that there are no toilet facilities.

After 4 tries, the 5th night was a go and it was wonderful. Saw the lights.. maybe not the "Disney" version, but a great view, beautiful stars, shooting stars and great and energetic leadership by Finn and Throstur. The photos they took were spectacular and we will treasure the experience forever.
