Nicely laid out with plenty of commentary in English. Good exhibits and a nice building. It's an easy walk from the centre of town.

The best of all the numerous meseums and galleries in Reykjavik - allow at least 2 hours to enjoy - great rainy day activity (which is often).

Very well presented Museum, with lots of artefacts throughout Icelands relatively short history. And relatively cheap if you find your self with a rainy day and you like history it's worth a visit!!

Good museum, but way too skewed towards the Christian aspects. Iceland has a rich diverse history and to have such a small part of it depicted is kinda sad.

This museum offers a very digestible history of Iceland that can be viewed within 2 hours or so. We enjoyed the artifacts and found the history to be interesting.
