I think this might be a better winter activity. Zero snow. Who wants to snowmobile on ice? Not me! You have to go slow and really fight to turn. I would o my do this when there is plenty of fresh snow. Someone in our...More

While I am sure this is a wonderful activity 10 months of the year, it was terrible in August. There was no snow- just ruts of ice. The trail was completely washboard, so unless you enjoy a totally jarring ride with no letup, you won't...More

This was definitely a highlight of our Iceland vacation! Such a unique experience from start to finish, with the drive to the glacier looking like you are on the moon, and the snowmobiling experience so exciting and fun. We did this with our two teens,...More

We had a great day on the snowmobiles with great guides, Ron gave us so much information on the glaciers in Iceland and how each volcano was formed. We’d highly recommend this tour to all ages and abilities.More

We met at Gullfoss and took a truck up to base camp. Our driver from Artic Adventures was great. We had a safety talk, got togged up (they provide helmet, goggles, padded overalls, gloves etc) and off we went. A bumpy hour on the snowmobile,...More

My adult son and I were picked up in Reykjavik. The van ride to Gullfoss was comfortable, and seeing the waterfall was a great bonus to the excursion. The snowmobiling was a blast! First time we had ever done it. The snow covered glacier was...More

We did not do the ice caves as it was too warm in May, so it was too dangerous. Check with with the travel Company, they were very accommodating, I cannot see thee being a problem.
