My wife and I make a point of doing a Segway tour anywhere we visit. It’s a great way to get the feel of a city, covering a lot of ground in much less time, and hey, those things are FUN. George was our guide on the Reykjavik tour - and what a pleasure it was! George was very knowledgeable and with a passion for the city and his country. He fascinated us with stories and facts and took us on a comprehensive tour from the old Harbour into the city, the old city and back. The tour itself took us through major parts of the downtown area, which is rare for Segways, and considering the fact we set this tour for two hours after landing in Reykjavik it was a great introduction. I throughly recommend!!

Thank you so much for the kind review for Reykjavik Segway Tours and guide George. I am delighted you were fascinated with his stories and felt the tour was comprehensive. We love to show people around Reykjavik by Segway, bicycle, on foot or in a vehicle. We do it all! Happy travels! Stefan

Not been able to book the tour through any online option. Tried through TripAdvisor a few times. Ended up calling them and they said they had an issue and it would be fixed in a few hours. That was three days ago. Apparently they are not that bothered....

Dear Traveler, I am terribly sorry that you had a hard time booking a Segway tour with us at Reykjavik Segway Tours. We listed our daily scheduled summer (May through September) Segway tour on Tripadvisor in 2019. To date we have not received a single booking through them. I‘m wondering if perhaps you were trying to book our Segway tour after the season had ended which may have been the reason for the initial rejection. Reykjavik Segway Tours is a very small company, myself and a couple of helpers in summer. It is very easy to book direct with us by email, by phone or What‘s app. We offer private Segway tours all year weather permitting. I regret you did not receive a proper and timely reply from Tripadvisor, and we had no idea of your trouble. Kind regards, Stefan owner of Reykjavik Segway Tours.

We waited until we were in Reykjavik to book our Segway tour so we could time this to a halfway decent weather day. George was a our guide and did a fanastic job. (Hint: He likes to take pictures for you!) Our route included Harpa Concert Hall (outside), Sun Voyager sculpture, Hallgrímskirkja church, Höfði (a house in Reykjavík, Iceland, best known as the location for the 1986 Reykjavík Summit meeting of presidents Ronald Reagan of the United States and Mikhail Gorbachev), and many more. We had actually seen some of these sights before our Segway tour but George filled in a lot of details for us.

My husband and I are avid Segway riders. We have been on 51 Segway Tours and this was one of the best. George, our tour guide, was well organized, had lots of information and a great sense of humor. We toured for 2.5 hours all over Reykjavík. We loved every minute. He told us lots of stories and history behind Iceland and Reykjavík. It is a wonderful way to see Reykjavík and not o be missed.

This was a great way to see the city up close. George was our guide and did a great job at explaining the sights and answering our questions.
