My family went here after dinner one night to try a flight of beer. The bar is down in a basement and has a great atmosphere. There are a lot of beers on tap. We ordered a flight of 5 beers and got to pick...More

As enjoyable as it is to enjoy a pint outside in the sun, we thoroughly enjoyed sampling delicious Icelandic beers in the cool, cozy cellar of Microbar. It's was very neat to sit surrounded by the old stone basement foundation walls. Others were visiting, laughing...More

This bar has a neat atmosphere and a variety of craft beers and liquors. The manager, Viktor, knows his stuff and has a great sense of humor once you get him going.

They have a pretty good draft list so we were hoping to try beers that were new. Unfortunately, they have a set beer flight list so we ended up with some beers we had already tried elsewhere. Also, a little pricey. Otherwise, casual atmosphere. No...More

This place was very different from most bars downtown. They had a great distillery flight as well as a 5 or 10 beer flight. Victor was the manager on duty and was very personable. If you want craft beer, this is your place.

To stop for a beer. One of the oldest corners in Reykjavik and certainly a great place to taste Icelandic beer. Great atmosphere and very crowded. Worth the stop.

Love the cellar local and the feel of a speakeasy. Quiet. Classy. Nice bartender. Happy hour 5-7. The beers we tried were not our favorites but there were other choices.

They have a good selection of of Icelandic beer and offer samplers. The bar is located in the basement and has a cosy decoration, dimmed lights and good music. Staff is not too friendly like the rest of Iceland, but who cares.

The craft beer movement is in full swing in Iceland. This little basement bar in the middle of town features the house label and other local craft beers. They have flights where you can choose 5 or 10 generously poured samples, then a few special...More

We do not serve food but there are some option for snacks (small bags of chips) to have with a beer or two.
