Review of: Reykjavik Food & Wine Tour
Just experienced one of the best tours ever - hands down! We ate and drank our way around the Golden Circle with Ymir. From the very beginning when we popped into the most amazing bakery in Reykjavik to select a mouth watering array of breakfast breads and pastries to our final toast with Icelandic vodka at the Þingvellir National Park, it was a fabulous and fun filled day. We felt so pampered when we were able to spend a whole hour all to ourselves at a beautiful hot springs. It was even made better when the wonderful food and drink started being served. Loved the eggs that Ymir cooked in the hot spring. The smoked trout pate was delish!! I would never in a million years think that I would be raving about going to a tomato farm. The tomato soup and olive bread is scrumptious. Mussels were perfectly cooked. Oh, yeah, those Bloody Marys were pretty darn good too. Loved it!! Ymir even hand picked tomatoes for us to eat. The family who owns the farm and restaurant have a great personal story to tell, and the fact that Ymir is a friend of the family meant we heard that story from someone who enthusiastically rejoices in the family's success. The Dairy Farm was fantastic too. Can't forget to mention the beautiful geysers and Gullfoss waterfall. Spending a day with Ymir is like spending a day with a good friend who just happens to know lots about his country, enjoys gourmet food, and has exceptional taste in wine!! What's not to like? Skál to Ymir.…

Review of: Reykjavik Food & Wine Tour
Looking for the best way to experience Reykjavik, Iceland? It’s by booking a Magical Iceland Food and Drink Tour with Ýmir. Back in February my sisters and I were lucky enough to experience this tour and after every stop on the tour, we found ourselves saying ‘it can’t get better than this’ but in true Ýmir fashion, it did. It was the most memorable experience that we are still talking about to this day. Ýmir’s attention to detail is spot on, the enthusiasm he has for what he does is contagious and he will cater the day to what you want to do. From homemade treats in the car to private swimming in a secret lagoon, followed by the most delicious food at a tomato greenhouse and later at a dairy farm, a stop at an active geyser and the most spectacular views of a waterfall, it was a day none of us will ever forget. You won’t be disappointed if you book this tour; it checks all the boxes and is not to be missed. Ýmir starts the day as your host and ends the day as your friend!…

Review of: Reykjavik Food & Wine Tour
The Food and Wine tour in Reykjavik is absolutely worth it. Ársæll was knowledgeable, entertaining and patient. The food was really yum, and their was plenty of drinks! We had a great time - definitely DO THIS. ALSO - the Magical Iceland private tour of the Golden Circle is MORE THAN WORTH IT. We had a totally brilliant day. Ýmir was simply excellent. I have never eaten so much in one day in my life. I must add - communication with this group is very good. They delivered exactly what they said they would and more. When dates had to be changed (by them), they were clear, and cooperative. You WILL NOT REGRET booking with this team.…

Dear friends Thank you so much for the beautiful words. We loved "meeting and feeding" the two of you happy fun loving curious fellow foodies :) The second "food coma" on the Private Gourmet Golden Circle tour was unforgettable - you did very well in not resisting the food coma - I mean - who would not finish that mind blowing beef tartar from the farm, paired with our selected red wine, followed by the local gourmet hamburger from the farm with the "happy bacon" and home made feta cheese AND the famous locally made ice cream to complete the experience ??? ... just saying ;) LUV from your Niceland friends, Magical Iceland - Gourmet Guides
